Meanwhile, Anita and her husband Vernon Dupree are grappling with her cancer diagnosis at the hospital, generating a wave of concern among their loved ones. 

BTG spoilers reveal that Eva Thomas is uncertain about her relationship with Izaiah Hawthorne, hinting at possible relationship tension. Vanessa McBride and Dani Dupree are seen competing for the same man, creating an intriguing plot twist. On New Year's Eve, Vanessa is seen publicly dating Joey Armstrong, a significant development in their relationship. The following day, the show features a guest performance by Kenny Lattimore at Uptown's New Year's Eve event, where Nicole Dupree Richardson and Dani received devastating news about their mother, Anita.
