General Hospital is set for an explosive return of Michael Corinthos, igniting shock waves throughout Port Charles. The unexpected return has been foreshadowed by consistent name drops, a custody suit, and Carly Corinthos Spencer's (Laura Wright) scheming. As it seems, it might not be Chad Duell reprising the role, but a potential recast in the form of Rory Gibson, the former Noah Newman of Young and the Restless on CBS.
Gh sees Michael's comeback will shake the dynamics of the town, particularly with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who's likely to confront him about refusing to see her at the clinic in Germany. However, the truth about Drew' Quartermaine's (Cameron Mathison) bribery at the clinic is bound to surface. Michael might join forces with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to take down Drew Cain, who effectively stole Michael's life on the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital sees Carly might also face her son's wrath for meddling in the custody case. Moreover, with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), the mother of Michael's child, growing closer to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Michael might find himself fighting jealousy.
