Young and the Restless sees Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is running out of time to reunite with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), as he and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) profess their love and plan to cohabitate. A character like Summer is known to resort to wild schemes, reminiscent of her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). From potential manipulations involving their son Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) to possible alliances with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Summer's desperation to break the blossoming love between Kyle and Claire is palpable on the CBS soap opera.
Y&R sees Holden Novak's (Nathan Owens) discontentment with his job under Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) could be used by Summer to her advantage, adding another layer to this enthralling storyline. With Summer's history of deceit and manipulation, including her past blackmail of Kyle and her tumultuous relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). The upcoming episodes will reveal if Kyle and Claire can withstand the storm that Summer, Audra, and Victor are brewing, inching them closer to their 'happily ever after.'
