>> Speaker B (00:53):
The first story is entitled A Night of Unsettling
Disturbances.
It had been a brutal day at work, and all I wanted was
to come home, kick back, and enjoy a
quiet evening. My roommates were on the night shift, so
I figured I had the house to myself. Just me, a
frozen pizza, and a cold beer. At least that's what
I thought. The moment I walked in, something felt

(01:15):
off. The TV was on, blaring away in the living
room. I stood there for a second, trying to remember if I'd
left it on that morning. But no, it wasn't me.
Annoyed, I chalked it up to one of my roommates being
careless. I muttered something about how they'd end up
bankrupting us with the electric bill, then headed to
the kitchen to grab a beer. That's when I saw it. The

(01:35):
stove burner was still on. At that point, I was
fuming. Leaving a burner on wasn't just careless,
it was dangerous. I was already rehearsing the rant I'd
give them when they got home. But as I turned off the burner
and started cooking my pizza, the frustration
faded. Maybe they were in a rush. Maybe they'd just
forgotten. It didn't matter. I was tired and ready to
relax. I sank into the couch with my pizza

(01:58):
and let the background noise of the TV drown out my
thoughts. At some point, I must have dozed off,
because the next thing I remember was a loud thump coming from
the balcony. Half asleep, I figured it was probably
a stray cat or a raccoon rummaging around the lawn
chairs we stored out there. I ignored it and dragged myself
to bed. But I couldn't stay asleep. About an hour

(02:18):
later, another thump woke me up. This time, it wasn't
just annoying. It felt deliberate, like
someone or something was trying to get my
attention. Frustrated, I grabbed the nearest thing I
could find, a broom, and stormed toward the
balcony. I was ready to chase off whatever was making
the noise. When I stepped outside, the air

(02:38):
felt heavier than usual, like the night was holding its
breath. The balcony was empty. No animals, no sign
of anything that could have caused the noise. I leaned over the
railing, scanning the area below. That's when I
saw her. At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks
on me. But no, there she was, standing just
below my balcony. A woman. She was staring up at

(02:58):
me. Completely still. Her face partially
obscured by a strange fog. Her eyes.
They weren't normal. They were blank, empty.
Like they were looking through me instead of at me. My heart
was pounding so hard I thought I might pass out. But
somehow I managed to. Hello? She
didn't answer. She didn't even flinch. After what felt

(03:19):
like forever, she slowly turned around and walked
toward the trees at the edge of the yard. There was no
sound. Not even the crunch of leaves or the snap of a
branch. Just silence. And then she was
gone. I stood there for what felt like hours, trying
to make sense of what I'd just seen. Eventually,
I locked the door and sat on the couch, staring at

(03:39):
the TV I'd left on earlier. I couldn't bring myself
to turn it off. It's been months now and I haven't seen
her again. But I can't shake the feeling that she was
inside the house before I got home, turning on the
tv, leaving the burner on. Almost like she
wanted me to know she was there. I still don't know who
or what she was. A ghost. A, figment of

(03:59):
my imagination. All I know is that night left
me with a memory I'll never forget. And a lingering
sense that she might one day come back. The third story
is entitled A Night Ride Turns Mysterious.

>> Lydia (04:11):
I'm Lydia, I'm 13 years old and my
stepdad Paul is 30. At the time he was
28 and I came across your site about a
month ago. It started as a normal night shift.
He was going to Hecksl Duxford on a clear winters
night. My mum Lisa had not been well on that day,
so he said to her, dont worry, Ill take my
bike. So he went out to the shed and got his bike ready

(04:34):
and he was just about to leave when I noticed he hadnt got his
lunch snack with him. I ran in and brought it to
him. He took a torch with him in case there were any
problems with his bike along the way. He got up the
road and turned on to the main road. Coming up to
the first road sign, bearing in mind it was
pitch black and there was no cars or people other than

(04:54):
my stepdad on the road, therefore there being
no source of light other than the moon to project
an image, he noticed a narrow, whitish
glowing mound that as he got closer, seemed as
if it was floating. He thought nothing of it and carried
on cycling. He got closer and stopped
immediately as ah. He saw that the pile he had

(05:14):
seen was floating and that the alleged
pile was a girl that only looked about 16
or 17. This had a massive impact on
my stepdad as he was very skeptical
and did not believe in seeing ghosts at all.
He thought to himself that it was probably
just another person from our village. But then

(05:35):
he saw that she was walking over the ditch that runs
along the main road. He thought that this was
ludicrous as the ditch drops about six
feet. He also noticed that she had no feet
and this freaked him out. She was weeping and
then turned around and looked dead ahead at
my stepdad. He jumped as she appeared
to have no eyes and she had a blank

(05:57):
expression across her face. He heard a car coming
from the direction he was facing and the headlights were
on. My stepdad looked away from the girl and
looked back after the car had driven away,
leaving yet more darkness. The girl was gone.
Where my stepdad had spotted the phantom girl
behind it was a field that for hundreds of years
before had had an abbey until it was knocked down in

(06:20):
the late 1600s, hence the name that we gave
her, Abby. This has changed my stepdad's
views on ghosts dramatically.

>> Speaker B (06:28):
The fourth story is entitled to ghostly.

>> Speaker D (06:30):
Gift the ring about 10 years ago, my
m parents were leasing a large house while
looking for a new home to purchase. I was living
in California at the time and had come
home to visit for a few weeks. The first
night that I was there, something strange happened.
I climbed into bed and felt a sharp object

(06:51):
sticking me. I felt around under the sheets
and to my surprise, found an open,
almost diaper sized safety pin. I closed
it and put it on the nightstand. I forgot about
it and went about my business the next day. The
next evening, however, I found the safety
pin, now open again, hidden beneath the
covers in my bed. Knowing quite well that

(07:13):
no one in my family was a prankster, I was very
perplexed. The next morning, I went into the kitchen and
asked, okay, who's putting the pin in my bed?
Everyone just looked at each other and said they didn't know what I was
talking about. The way my sister and parents looked at each
other convinced me that something odd was going
on. Then, reluctantly, they all

(07:34):
began to tell me about the strange events in the
house. My father said that he would hear the front
door open and close frequently and
would then hear footsteps down the hall or up
the wooden stairs, but no one was there. My
mother would hear the door slam and then a voice
imitating my sisters would say, I'm

(07:54):
home. But she wasn't. My brother would hear the
garage door open and close
mysteriously during the night. Ghostly footsteps
on the wooden stairs leading to his apartment
over the garage were heard almost every night.
My sister first realized the house was
haunted when she heard the doors upstairs
slamming open and shut at all hours of

(08:16):
the night. She decided to move in with a friend
and as a result, she was alone up there. If I
wasn't visiting and sleeping in the adjoining
bedroom, my parents decided to investigate
and started with having the neighbors over for
dinner. The attorney and his wife
confirmed that there had been a problem with the
previous owners and their children. According

(08:39):
to the dinner guests, the two small girls
refused to stay upstairs in their
bedrooms and were terrified of even
going up there. Meanwhile, my brother
discovered that the house was built on an
old family cemetery. My parents
finally had all they could take and decided to
move when they observed objects moving

(09:01):
by themselves and the ghostly voices
became more frequent. As they were getting ready
to leave, my father noticed a ring
hanging on a nail right beside the door
leading in from the garage. The ring had not
been there just a few minutes beforehand. It had
a black star sapphire with diamonds in the
shape of a crescent. He swears that it was left

(09:23):
there by the ghost. My husband now wears the
ghost ring. We had it appraised. It was made
at the turn of the century from 18 or
20 cararat gold, but bears no
stamp. As such, the diamonds are real and
the sapphire is of high quality,
resulting in an approximate worth of
$1,200. What a

(09:45):
wonderful gift from beyond.

>> Speaker B (09:47):
The fifth story is entitled Encountering the
Unknown. A haunting
experience.

>> Speaker E (09:53):
About 10 years ago, I saw the scariest thing
that I've witnessed in a long time. I Live in Seattle,
Washington. I was 26 years old and
I saw a black mass with two glowing red eyes in my
backyard. Was it Mothman? Here is my story that
I wrote within an hour of the experience. I was talking
on the phone with my fian when I looked up to see, about

(10:13):
25ft away, two large basketball sized
eyes shrouded in a black mass about 6
or 7ft tall. The deepness of the red was haunting and
I'm still shaking right now. When I initially saw it,
it looked like two hovering red flashlights looking
down at something on the ground. Then as I stood up,
it looked right up at me. The two beams of red sat

(10:34):
right next to each other like a pair of eyes looking directly at
me through the kitchen window. I had about three seconds to
look at it before it slid to the left about 8ft and
vanished. I let out my two dogs but they didnt t react
to anything. They just went to the bathroom. The feeling that
I got in my chest and still have is that
of total discomfort. I honestly feel nauseous.
Im'not sure what to believe right now. Looking into the eyes was

(10:57):
like looking into a fire. I'not even sure what to do at this
point. I honestly feel like I saw something that I wasnt supposed
to. As I stared out into the darkness, I felt uneasy.
I went into the living room to see if maybe it was a passing car
from the front window, but the blinds were closed. My stomach
felt even more upset with this fact because I wasn't sure how
to explain what just happened. I asked my sister in law if she

(11:18):
saw anything or had any red lights around and she said no. And
right as my back was turned to the kitchen window, which is a
large window, my brother walks into the living room and asks me
what's up? Curiously then he says what was
that? He described something red in the backyard, like a
strobe light. This made me even more paranoid because
whatever it was, it came back for a second visit and how

(11:38):
could he know what I'd just seen? It also seemed like a blackness to
it that seemed darker than the surrounding night. I feel
crazy. I felt like gouging my eyes out after I saw it.
Has anyone else seen anything like this?

>> Speaker B (11:49):
The last three stories are from guests on Dairyland Frights
podcast Ghosts and us in Spirit Experience.

>> Blaine (11:55):
And he goes, dude, stay on the basement. Something's trying to talk to you
there. Because I was telling him about some other stuff. And he goes,
dude, try and figure out what that is. I'm likeeah, I don't want to do
this. Well, I have a portal box going and it's what
that is. It's just like a modified speaker and
you hook it up to a spirit box and it's supposed to filter out that white
noise that's generated.

>> Ty (12:13):
It almost sounds like someone is talking in a toilet.

>> Lydia (12:15):
It echoes?

>> Blaine (12:16):
Yeah, it sounds kind of like a watery effect. You can take
the reverb off, but it sounds, it sounds better
with the reverb, which, whatever M But I'm sitting
in there and all of a sudden I'm not getting voices, I'm getting
like shouts of like yeah, it's freaking me
screeaming. It's freaking me out. And on camera I had
it pointed in this little room in this basement

(12:37):
where I'm doing this. And I got scared. A shadow
figure is Poking out from the wall and then right
back and like, goes back. Like it pokes out from the
wall. You can make out like an arm and a head. It
goes out and then back into the wall. But what's
weird is that it's from the wall.
It's not from the room itself because

(12:57):
the wall is solid to the
staircase. That's right outside of the room.

>> Ty (13:02):
Yeah, we've been there and done that. Likely,
I'll be going to bed. And he would say, like I said, it was so small,
it'like a studio. He would say he saw something wrong to bed with
me. And when we finally. When he finally saw what it
was, he had opened up our front door and that's when
that thing stood right in front of it and he
froze in hor. I never saw Michael or

(13:22):
Mike so scared in his life. I call Michael
so scared in his life. I mean, he was.
Yeah, he was frozen. I didn have to go over to him
and like, shake him and like, have him focus on
me. Because whatever
the way he described it, his vision was, what he saw,
I wasn't fortunate. Ye. I
wasn't, I'm gonna say fortunate or unfortunate.

(13:45):
Whatever he described, I'm glad I didn't see it.

>> Speaker E (13:47):
Yes.

>> Ty (13:48):
but I did get some sense of smell,
around Mike, around the house when it did
come forward. But what he saw, I mean, it frightened
him to the core. He actually had to have his mom.
I thank her every time. But his mom showed up to him and
told him to get up. Yeah, to get up and fight this thing.
I believe what I saw was an actual demon.

(14:08):
And you don't want to see one. the best way I
can describe it. Are you familiar what a goal is?

>> Speaker B (14:15):
Yes, yes.

>> Ty (14:16):
It was a gold golem looking thing.
And it was just sparkly in the eyes. You know, it wouldn't red or anything. It's
just kind of like
electric. Just the way this. And when I
saw this thing, I literally just shut
down because it just got me to my cor.

>> Blaine (14:33):
Terrifying.

>> Ty (14:33):
It was very terrifying. It was,
So, you know, it was all this stuff that happened and us
actually dealing Kurtz.

>> Blaine (14:40):
Kurtz was pretty scary.

>> Speaker E (14:42):
Yeah, he was like.

>> Ty (14:43):
He saw like this figure with like.

>> Speaker B (14:44):
A broken back crawling or something.

>> Ty (14:46):
But it was like kind of him in an older
sense.

>> Blaine (14:50):
And yeah, my friend Kurt, we had him on
the show in the earlier episodes and
he was telling us about how he had
moved into, an
apartment in Manitoc and he had,
u experienced this weird
like, figure come out of
his bathroom. It was where he could explain it. It was like

(15:12):
flannel button down, and
it had really long, I guess really long hair covering
its face and its back was broken. Yeah, it was, like,
crawling with, like, a. Like a weird, like, shape
crawling out of his bathroom. And he got pretty freaked out by
it. And he hadn't owned it
at the time, but a while, like a year, a couple

(15:32):
years or so later, months, whatever it was,
he found the flannel shirt, not
even thinking about it, and bought it.

>> Lydia (15:40):
Yeah.

>> Blaine (15:40):
And now he has it. So he's wondering if he was seeing,
like, a really demented, like,
version of.

>> Lydia (15:48):
Yeah, that one.

>> Speaker D (15:49):
That's.

>> Speaker B (15:49):
That one really stuck to me.

>> Blaine (15:50):
I. Tony's whole
episode with us was insane.

>> Ty (15:55):
Tony's life is scary.

>> Blaine (15:57):
She got whipped around. Like, we had a guest on the
one that experienced the sleep paralysis with the
scissors. She, owns this house and
she got, like. Supposedly got whipped around
the room, like, attacked, like, thrown. She
was thrown into, like, objects in her. In her room and stuff.
