Es ist eine großartige Story, mit einem traurigen Hintergrund. Vor knapp einem Jahr gab es in der Gemeinde Kall in NRW, eine schier unglaubliche Flutkatastrophe, durch die Medien ging eher das Ahrtal. Allerdings waren viele Nachbarorte nicht weniger Hart von der Flutkatastrophe betroffen.
So wie in Kall, wo die Feuerwehrwache neben dem kleinen Bachlauf Urft, der sich zu einem reissenden Fluss verwandelt hatte, von den Wassermassen heimgesucht wurde. Noch heute riecht man die Feuchtigkeit in der Feuerwache.
