En typ 2-diagnos väcker många skrämmande tankar – men kanske är det också en och annan som får tanken ”kan jag bli av med sjukdomen och hur ska jag göra då?” Banbrytande studier har visat att det är fullt möjligt att få sjukdomen att gå tillbaka. Men vad krävs för att du ska lyckas, hur lång tid har du på dig och innebär en reverserad diabetes typ 2 att du är botad?
I studion Kerstin Brismar, läkare och senior professor i diabetesforskning, och Micke Göransson som för fem år sedan fick diagnosen typ 2, men idag har helt normala värden.
