(00:00):
All right, Tony, you're in charge of the Instagram
notification. Thank you.
Oh, shit, I gotta do that. Hold on.
You're absolutely right. I should absolutely do that.
It's gonna be a crazy selfie andme live.
That's gonna be the. All you early birds get the fun
stuff. Hello everybody, I am Dan and I
am Live Today with Alec and Tony, the other two Japanese
(00:25):
candies in my. Sex.
Snacks in my candy store. Starting with the person that
came up with the idea Tony. With the person that came up
with the idea, Tony. What's going on, guys?
(00:45):
It's your boy, Tony. The person that came up with the
idea? Tony.
I'm sorry, what are we doing? You're Japanese candy.
Oh, my Japanese candy. What's up, everybody?
I'm Tony. I I speak into the microphone.
I'm a bit of a wordsmith, and I tell stories.
And my favorite Japanese snacks,Less candy.
It's got to be these little chocolate pandas.
(01:06):
I love the little chocolate pandas.
Just fill the chocolate. They look like pandas.
Everything great? Everything great about Japanese
culture in a little panda snack. What about you, Daniel?
Me. Oh, right.
Back to me. Hello, everybody.
I'm Dan. I play Menace Pebble Walker in
campaign 1, and I will be playing someone else in campaign
2, but we'll get to that on my stream day.
(01:28):
Yeah, but for now, my favorite candy.
I grew up addicted to these things.
I immediately got rid of the screen so I forget what they're
called. It's all good you didn't grew up
bubble gum. Marakua bubble gum If you never
(01:49):
had Marukawa bubble gum, that stuff is so addicting.
It's these fruit flavored like ball candies with this
crunchable shell around the gum and goodness, it is delicious.
So go look that up and have someof those.
But Alec, what's your favorite Japanese candy?
(02:09):
Yeah, What is going on guys? My name is Alec.
I play Drell of the Ashbourning campaign 1 and in campaign two I
am proud to announce I will be playing Kazel.
Amber Leaf, right? Yeah.
Kazel. But who's Pazel?
Yeah, they're my favorite. Japanese candy or snack?
I call it a snack. Not really.
(02:30):
Candy is also Hello Panda but specifically the strawberry
flavour. I love the strawberry ones.
I'm a big like strawberry shake guy also so that's I think why I
like it so much. Strawberry milkshakes are so
underrated dude. Strawberry milkshakes are super
underrated. Oh, we all agree on food.
(02:50):
And I will say this in and out, they have Neapolitan shakes and
they're the best. I get them all the time.
That sounds pretty good, yeah. I got to restart my head.
Hell, just get all bubbly robotic on.
Me, Jared. How about your candy?
That's right. Jared's not with us today.
Hello, everybody. Jared is gone because he is
(03:11):
doing a work thing. Yeah, falls away for work
things, unfortunately. Can I make it today?
I just want to let you all know we are going to be rolling the
chaos dice for the Kickstarter live at the end of the stream.
So if you do want to see that kind of stuff, stay tuned to the
end. Let's say hello to everybody
that's coming in real quick before we get into this.
(03:32):
Leilani. Good evening, Stiffenheimer.
Hi, good to have you. All the follows as well.
Dragon Low. I think that's how you pronounce
it. Andy Master said Gummy ramen.
What do we think of gummy ramen?I've had it once.
It's pretty good, not gonna lie,it's pretty good.
(03:54):
It's top five. All of it's gummy.
Yeah. Whole thing's gummy.
OK, flame breaker, are you like, all the candy that we just said?
Right. If it's not Kate then who is it
lol. Is rock candy really a Japanese
candy or is that like? Is that like Pop Rocks or is
that like the little stick of just like Hard Rock candy?
(04:16):
Yeah, just go outside and eat a bunch of stones, you know?
Pocket, of course. Mammal.
Glass. Classic, classic.
Yo, what's up, Captain Fluffle? Puff.
That's right, who I was looking at.
That's in Fluffle Puff Classic. Master Nathan Wolf, what's going
on? Push sugar on the stones.
(04:38):
Oh, OK. I that I don't know if I've had
like. Sugar, but I would.
Do that. I've seen it.
I've seen like candy stores sellit but I've never ate it.
I've eaten 17 of these since Saturday when I stole a whole
bag from my moms house. Like this 17 bags or 17?
So my SO my mom threw a big fallparty.
(05:02):
She loves fall pumpkins and shit.
Looks like a pumpkin exploded inside her house.
So she threw like a big fall party and she made a goodie bag
station. So like kids can like make
goodie bags, bring them home, bring a bunch of candy.
So anyway, I snuffed 2 little kids out of the way and stole
all the chocolate pandas. Love that, love that for you.
So the. Whole bag.
Yeah, it's great. So am I.
(05:22):
Awesome. I will say I don't know of how
low Panda chocolate flavor is a fall candy that I would have
brought to a fall party, but hey, I mean, you know, I'm.
Not good. I was for little kids, man.
Or one Tony. So that's yeah how it works.
One Tony, highly recommend everybody listening to some
(05:42):
medieval lofi music or somethingon Spotify while you listen to
us. We are recording this as well as
going live, so we're keeping themusic out to add it later.
I also do have a quick rundown if you aren't part of the
Patreon, that's patreon.com/DND Four O 4.
I believe it's everybody that is$25 and up is part of the
(06:04):
Milestone Rewards program and I'm sending out a milestone
reward. This is someone's picture that
I'll be signing. So every three months they get a
well, the first three months that you're subscribed total,
you get an image from me that issigned in the mail.
So get excited for that kind of stuff.
Go check it out on Patreon. This is pretty straightforward.
(06:28):
Today, Alec is going to be interrogated.
Hell yeah, we're. Going to start with.
Before we start, I just want to say Twitch is doing something
right now that's very beneficial.
I have someone who has used thisapp right now if you sub for
from October 2nd to October 2nd,what you can't sub?
They can't subdue us 'cause we're not.
(06:48):
Can't sub what? Do you mean we've ever streamed
on twitch before bro? Oh my God, dude, OK.
Nevermind. Not even in the story can I
understand anything. Can I even say anything?
All right. You know what I do well?
This is what you do. You just go to file like 404 on
Twitch, Twitch TV and you just do it there, OK.
You go to IM Joker Man on Twitch, but we will have
(07:10):
subscription capabilities by theend of this month, most likely
so stay tuned because we will have that now leave some
comments throughout. I will try and look at the chat
and save some of the comments for the end, but we are going to
go camping. One comments, extra comments,
(07:31):
they're categorized, and then campaign 2 comments and then
we'll get to some of the Twitch questions and comments at the
end for Alec. This is all about Alex.
So easy, nothing about me. Me or Tony?
Nothing dude, I don't even want to hear it.
Don't even, well, they can ask stuff just don't needs to be
about Alec. Yeah, these be.
That's all. Yeah, today was.
Barred play the Twitch stream. All right, first question is
(07:57):
from Jacob Hudson on Instagram. They said love your character.
Drell is awesome. He could be Kratos.
Have you ever thought of that? Yes, no, I mean a little bit I
would say I think I got more a little bit of like his aesthetic
(08:18):
and like the tattoos obviously from Kratos.
Fun fact, I've actually never played that video game.
What is it called, God of War orsomething like that?
God of War, Yeah, never played it, but the voice is iconic.
I think everybody knows it. I think, and I talked about this
a lot, I think Kratos and what Drax from Guardians of Galaxy is
(08:45):
like 2 heavily influenced peoplethat like drill was developed.
Around So you were never played God of War I.
Know. I know dude, I've never played
it before. Don't miss it out.
I will say, I will say and like this is something I think a lot
of people that know me know thisabout me.
(09:05):
Like I don't really play single player games.
Like I don't have the time to just sit around and like play a
game by myself. So a lot of the video games I
play are either like PPP or Pve that are like Co-op and stuff.
So. Love that.
Yeah. Next question is from Stan Honas
(09:26):
on Instagram. What was your favorite part
about playing drill? Hard one.
That's a hard one. That is a really hard one
because I feel like I have a lotof fun things about drill that I
really enjoyed. I think honestly my favorite
thing about drill was the one doing the most damage like in
(09:49):
every single fight. I think there was a very, very
few fights where drill was not the the main damage dealer.
I think our most was the like really confused Tony and make
the fights easier for us. And then Dan was a hybrid of
like doing damage as well as like buffing us.
(10:11):
And then I, my single job was just to like damage output, you
know, So I think that was the main thing I really liked, you
know, doing all the attacks, rolling all the, all the dice
and stuff. So sorry, Tony's dancing is
really throwing me off. I got this playlist is
absolutely fired. I'm looking.
That was great. Which is funny because they are
(10:32):
listening to literal fire in thebackground of this episode.
Next question from Squeezy Bruceon this chord.
What was the obsession over petsbecause you didn't have any
growing up? That's actually a really funny
question. No, actually, I grew up with
like tons of pets and I think that's kind of where it also
(10:55):
kind of stemmed from though, youknow, I have two dogs right now.
But I think mainly it was just like Armos had Resin old and
Menace had Sid, and I thought itwould be really funny.
Is like a character subplot linethat Drell just wasn't included
in having a familiar in his like, like what do they call it?
(11:19):
Like side quest was like trying to get 1.
So I just thought that would just be a really like funny
subplot, I guess. So I kind of just like really
went into it. I didn't mean to go into it as
hard as like with Horse as originally, but it just caught
on and everyone that was really funny.
So I just kept going with it. Horse is probably my favorite
(11:42):
just because it was like the recurring 1, you know?
But don't, don't sleep on Ruby. Ruby the Emerald.
Rat, I know Ruby exactly right And then boxy RIP.
It's like all these things. Spoilers, sorry.
Yeah, some people on episode 60 bro.
That's right. That's right.
Yeah, spoilers, spoilers, spoilers.
(12:04):
Yeah, we should probably prefer side.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
If you're listening on Spotify or any of the other podcasting
platforms, you probably already listened to all that.
So hopefully next one is from Papa Goblin.
These next two are both for PapaGoblin.
What was your favorite charactergrowth for Drell?
(12:32):
Oh, that's such a good question.I think my favorite character
growth with Drell was sorry. Every time I look I just see
Tony Bob in his head. My favorite character growth
with Drell was in the beginning of the campaign.
(12:54):
He was very like, he thinks he could like take on the world.
He thinks he could fight anything.
I think it was literally episode1 where Tony's character, the
the lion dude was like yelling at drill and drills like
literally level 1. But he was just like all big
and, you know, thought he could fight everything.
(13:14):
And then through the campaign, Ithink Drill really, I guess
matured in a way where he decided where he needed to fight
and where there might have been situations where he didn't need
to and he can solve the problems, you know, whether
they're like diplomatic or like whatever it was.
(13:34):
So I think like really Drilled developing that that skill set I
think was probably one of my favourites.
Yeah, yeah. I feel like, I feel like he had
maybe one of the more straightforward, immediate paths
of growth where it's like, OK, yeah, this guy needs to, like,
(13:58):
kind of tone it down sometimes and then, like, train, right?
Like, even though my dad was big, I need to live up to his
spirit. But it's tried and true.
I love that kind of trope. You know, yeah.
And, you know, like one of the funny things was it was just
like, it came really naturally. It wasn't something like I
planned. So I just think it was it was a
(14:21):
fun just natural growth of like the character itself and also
just me learning how to play DNDand like the do's and don'ts of
DND and like what's a smart choice in DND and what's a bad
choice in DNDI think also playeda heavily heavy influence into
that as well. That's a good point.
Yeah, I'll tell you what episodehas one of the most the biggest
(14:42):
growths for Jerel, episode 88. When he turned into it.
Spoiler no physically growth or no no.
No. Character.
No, no character. This is episode you're more
about it. Go listen to our end of campaign
discussion. But yeah, Darrell yells at our
most admittance for being. Oh yeah, that's true.
(15:03):
Yeah. And for not making good
decisions. Yeah.
And I feel like it's so funny too, because like, I think we
forget in the campaign, Darrell is like the youngest.
Yeah, but he was like the one making the smartest like adult.
Not maybe a smartest adult grown, but like making the most
(15:25):
rational decisions at time whereour most and menace were both
more emotionally driven. Characters.
So yeah, yeah, 'cause Menace wasvery motivated by just pure
emotion and then Armos was very motivated by greed and like the
rage, yeah. Or we were kind of two sides of
(15:47):
the same coin as far as emotional.
Yeah, stuff goes, right? Yep.
And that was a really good segueinto I, I didn't mean to put
Papa Goblins back back-to-back, but I put these in an order that
I thought flowed well. And it, it kind of goes really
well into this question that they also had.
(16:07):
That is, is there an aspect of Drell you think you will be
bringing to your new character? I don't know, I've thought
really long and hard about how Iwant to play.
Well, I guess I could Castle I One of my main fears is he's
(16:32):
Drell 2 point O like I don't want that to be a thing.
So I'm trying to one of the things I'm currently still
working in on is developing. OK, what are his key personality
traits? And like, what is that look
like? You know, So I think there might
be a few things, honestly. I mean, just thinking of like
(16:57):
his back story. I you can already tell probably
loyalty is going to be a very strong characteristic that both
characters are probably going tohave, you know, stuff like that,
like determination, but as the way they go about and, and one
of the things that made drill soeasy was like, I love to crack
(17:18):
jokes. I love to like laugh about a lot
of stuff. So playing a character who might
not be like that, I feel like might be really hard for me.
So just finding like that middleground and making sure that this
character is like, when the listeners listen, it's just
like, dude, this guy's literallyplaying like a reskinned version
of Drell, you know? It's like something I don't
(17:39):
want. So yeah, true, true.
And it's hard because everyone'ssecond character came kind of
reflect those things sometimes, especially when you play them
for like 4 years. That's what I'm saying.
Like it wasn't like I was and and I feel like the one shot
characters that we do are like really easy because I put zero
thought into them and I'm just like, OK, I'm just going to be
(18:01):
like a shit bag for an episode. Like it doesn't matter.
Like I'm just going to like literally tread it like that.
I wasn't trying to like get the party killed, but like my
character in that other one thatwe did was just like, I was just
meaning the whole time. And I was just like trying to
like cause like a ruckus. But like this actually has like
the story has like length and potential to like go a really
(18:24):
long time. So I'm gonna try really hard to
like, not do that. Yeah, I'll be appreciate it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, another player's two DM Yeah, just.
TPK first episode like fuck my bad.
Could easily happen if we do it the wrong way.
Yeah, exactly. What is the most contrasting
(18:46):
personality difference between you and Drell though?
When you created him and did it change by the end of the first?
Game who asked this question? This is Kaden Blade on discord.
And start what is again? What is the main difference?
Contrasting personality difference between you and.
Drill personality difference, I was going to say obviously
height because drill was really tall.
(19:07):
And then like just like what's the physical difference?
Yeah, personality I would say like drill was really loud and I
would say like obviously I'm notlike a complete introvert, but I
would also say like I'm not a complete extrovert.
(19:29):
Like I would I would say compared to Drell, I'm a I'm a
lot more reserved and a lot morequiet.
Like I have my opinion and I will voice my opinion if I need
if I feel it needs to be voiced. But I think one thing with Drell
is he was making sure like he was involved in like a lot of
(19:50):
the decisions and a lot of the things that need to be done in
the campaign. And I'm probably a little bit
more relaxed and reserved than that.
So I think that would probably be the biggest personality
difference. And then obviously the physical
would be the hype for sure. And all the tests is.
Yeah, I think it's in his name. Drell was ready to yell.
(20:11):
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, he was rage and he.
Was and like a lot of rage, right?
Like I don't have that. Like I'm not like a very loud,
rambunctious person. Like I can be for sure.
Like I have my moments, but I feel like that was just a steady
thing to expect from Drell throughout the campaign.
And that's just not really Alec,I guess.
(20:33):
Right. Yeah, there's some good
questions, guys. Yeah, these are super good
questions. Infamous Dino in the discord
asks is there any NPCS or part of drills story or back story
that you wished could have been explored more or had more story
to them? NPCS drills back story.
(21:00):
I gotta answer this when you're done.
OK, I mean, obviously besides like joking around with like we
just talked about it like horse and like all the other
companions. I think maybe like I, I, I feel
like it would have maybe been cool to bring Ruby spoiler
(21:22):
alerts by the way, because like that was one of the things.
So it's not technically an NPC, but I do wonder, like, how
different would it have been if Drell would have made the choice
to bring Ruby instead of leavingRuby where she was?
That was always really interesting.
And then, you know, maybe exploring and Tony might be able
(21:46):
to give a little bit more insight into into this.
But like, Lord Baron was also a Goliath, right?
But like, how familiar or involved was he with the
Ashbournes? And maybe the relationship
between Lord Baron and the Ashbournes or like maybe his
Goliath tribe would have maybe been kind of cool.
But I don't think there was anything that was like, damn, I
(22:07):
really wish we would have like explored that more.
That sticks out at the top of the list, I guess.
Gotcha. I know, I know mine.
What is There are very few timeswhere people make comments about
things we should do in the campaign.
And I'm like, you're right, we should have done that.
(22:29):
You know, usually it's like, OK,I could see why people might
have wanted that, but I'm happy with the way the story went.
But there was one comment someone had and I forget who
said it in the Discord that mademe go we messed up, we were
wrong, we should have done this.Someone said you should have
brought Aunt Dory with you to the fight to fight the wolf God
(22:53):
and had her die in. Combat I, I mean, that's
definitely something I, I, I don't really remember if Tony, I
talked about this before or after.
It was something that I definitely like in the moment,
I'm like, fuck, I I was very close to being like, hey, do you
(23:14):
just want to come? But I feel like Darrell's
relationship with Dory, it wouldhave been more like she would
have felt like she was stepping on toes, like it wasn't her
battle, it wasn't her mission. Like, yeah, it would have been
really cool for her to die knowing she was going to die
either way. And I, I, I did think that in
(23:38):
the moment, but I decided ultimately not to do that
strictly because I, I felt like Dory as a character would not
have wanted to intervene with like Darrell's destiny or
something like that. So sure, yeah, yeah, definitely,
definitely thought about. Yeah, definitely discuss for
sure, Dory. Nervous about it, that is all
(24:00):
the questions for campaign one. Is there anything you wanted to
say about campaign one before wemove on now?
Like just your thoughts on how it went, how, how drill was that
kind of stuff? Yeah, I mean, just thinking
like, obviously it being my first D&D campaign and the
(24:21):
length that it went, like you hear people talk about, oh, you
know, I'm in a 15 year long D&D campaign.
It's like, wow. It's like that's those people
have to be super emotionally tied to these characters because
I mean, ours, we went for like almost four years and it was to
the point where I was like, damn, dude.
I remember like when we finally stopped recording on the final
(24:43):
episode, I was like, that's crazy.
Like Drell and Menace and Armos and, you know, the world that
the three of those guys lived in, it's like over.
Like obviously we could revisit it with like one shots here and
there and maybe if we wanted to for fun.
But like the length of the storythe story's told, you know?
(25:03):
So it was like really like humbling.
I think it was like an overall really great experience.
And yeah, no, it was great. I loved it.
And before we move on, Tony, I think you should answer this for
every person when we do this. What What do you think was your
favorite thing about watching Alec play his first DND
(25:27):
campaign? Oh, man, when watching him cry
in the in the jail cell when, when you know what I'm saying?
That was my absolute favorite. It really gave him the
motivation he needed not only asa player but as a person to
really push those boundaries of role play, you know?
(25:47):
Son of a bitch. And I'll do it again, too.
I'm gonna do it again. One of my favorite moments of
drought. Oh God, you put me on the spot.
I should have this. Answer right now, yeah, it's
it's something I'm talking aboutin the moment I'm.
Gonna be honest, Episode 88 where you put all your asses in
(26:09):
check on the back of. Yeah, on the deserve too, you
know. When you guys killed that guy,
Yeah. Yeah, you guys, yeah.
Yeah, we did. We might have done that.
You. Sure did.
You sure did. If a man dies in the woods, no
one's around here but. Honor, honorary mention to
(26:29):
Lasagna. Just have to put it out there.
Hypnotic Lasagna. What's up baby?
What's up baby? We just just some of the
comments in there just saying how much you love the podcast
and how you're listening in and you're not finished, but it's
inspiring. Somebody said they made a
character based off Jerel in their own campaign.
Even that for the end, you bastard.
Oh, I'm sorry. Well, I feel like you need to
(26:50):
make doubt. I don't want people to think
we're we're ignoring them. I've been reading everything.
By the way, I'm commenting, don't worry.
Like a hawk. Yeah, so figures get that out
there. Welcome to new chat members.
DMDMDM Scud Evil skew devil. DM skew devil.
(27:12):
Yeah, Scud evil That is a good mid mid interview comment.
Those Stiffenheimer Stiffenheimer who was like, I
also stole that your jazz fighting characters from.
Jazz fighting characters are arguably one of my favorite
things about Campaign One, right?
(27:33):
I think it's so, it's so funny to me, and I think it embodies
everything like D&D is. I think it's like really funny
how big you can be in like such a serious situation, and then
the next thing you know, you're fighting like this guy named
Ross who like plays jazz and snaps.
And it's just like, for real. He donates 25% of his thieves to
(27:54):
goods to charity. That's.
Yet to be proven just you know. Yeah, I guess I never wrote into
actual benefit people who received that.
You're right. It would have been funny if we
would have went to like, like anorphanage and they were like,
yes, like a photo of Ross is like their sponsor up on the
wall like. Sponsor of the month.
(28:15):
I. Thought that was going to
happen. That would have been just super
fun. Yeah, a missed opportunity,
yeah. All right, we got a few extra
questions, bonus questions before hitting the Campaign 2
stuff, Litha Rosa from Instagramsaid.
You work out. Alec personally, fuck, not as
(28:36):
much as I should. I would say I probably right
now, I was like it a little bit in the middle of the campaign.
I was, I think just talking about working out so much as
well. I was like starting to like work
out a lot. And then I stopped working out
almost completely and now I'm back to like twice a week.
(28:56):
So nothing insane. I know, I know I lost it.
I was eating really healthy and stuff like that, but now got to
go back and do it. And we wish.
No glamour muscles, unfortunately.
Just just the glamour. Muscles.
Just just the functional muscles.
Yeah, it's just the brain. And the master they asked do
(29:21):
from this was from the discord. Do you naturally prefer melee
combat versus ranged combat? This is a really good question.
I would say I, I prefer, I prefer melee, or at least I
(29:42):
would say I used to. I used to be almost in every
single aspect of every type of video game, every type of game I
would play. I either liked playing like the
heavy bruiser tank or like the person that's in the back doing
like all the support roles. Like those were like really my
(30:04):
two favorite styles of like playing really anything.
So and I was like, you know what, when I first, this is
going to be our first campaign, I'm going to do something I kind
of know a lot. So I'm just going to go melee,
pure melee. I guess like I I can, we can
kind of talk about it now, obviously in campaign too.
(30:26):
I'm pretty much going to be doing the exact same thing
playing a paladin. I'm going to be maybe having a
little bit more of a spell casting aspect to it, obviously,
Yeah, but yeah, yeah, no, I I like to play melee.
I like to play big bruisers upfront, tanking a lot of the
damage. So I was just like, let's do it.
(30:50):
Welcome and thank you for the follow.
By the way, Mr. Taz Tazer Taz Tazer Taser.
It's not Kate lol that you're for the follow.
I wonder who you actually are. Kate.
I wonder who it is then. Damn.
Just now they followed. Someone's in trouble.
But before that, let's move on to our next question.
(31:13):
This is our last extra question that I saw.
This is from an Instagram user called Joke Our Man.
How do you practice your character voices?
Wow, what a dumb fucking question.
Just kidding. Just.
Kidding. Who would ask that?
Thanks for the question, Dan. I don't practice my voices.
(31:40):
Typically they are made-up on the spot, if not in the moment
where my character first has to speak.
I probably should practice my voices, but I don't.
I knew I wanted to do a voice withdrawal mainly because it was
going to be our first campaign. I felt like you couldn't have
all three of us just talk in ournormal voice.
(32:03):
So I thought just having a little bit, it wasn't like a
super big difference, but just having something that was like
contextually different than the rest of everybody talking I
think helped maybe with a littlebit of the.
Oh yeah, for sure. Not storytelling.
I don't know, like the not realism but like I can't think
(32:27):
of the word that I'm thinking of, but like it helped make it
feel more like a fantasy role rather than just like me, Jared,
Dan and Tony talking to each other.
Yeah. Campaign too is going to be
different. I to this day don't know if I'm
doing a voice. I've really played with it a
lot. That's a lot more where I would
(32:50):
say I've like practice voices. I've been like doing voices,
whether it's in the car on the way to work or in the shower or
whatever. Just like trying to find
something. And nothing yet has really stuck
with me. So I don't know if Kassel is
going to have a voice or if it'sjust going to be Alec.
(33:12):
Well, talking y'all, you're definitely gonna have a voice.
Well, I will have a voice. I don't know if it will sound
exactly like this voice or if itwill be different.
You just got. What we gotta do is add a slight
inflection. Remember, you're an elf.
You're floating. Maybe you're powder?
You got I'm not an elf bro. Chiefs dude, come on man.
You're an elf, bro. Maybe I'll just get an auto tune
(33:34):
and I'll talk like auto tune T pain the entire campaign too.
Maybe that's one you want to answer before we go into the
campaign. 2 questions. I think maybe just do a quick
this is my character, this is the class and the species that
I'm playing. Yeah, So Castle Amberleaf, he is
(33:57):
an Aladron and he is a paladin. He worships the gods, Sehani.
So that's the moon God I believe.
I'm still trying to do a lot of.Yeah, I'm.
Really. A Nightcrawler from X-Men
that's. Yeah, pretty much.
Around the and and. Kratos from God of War, and now
(34:20):
it's a guy from X-Men, so yeah, yeah.
And also so for people who aren't familiar with Aladrin's,
they are based around seasons. So they're they, they are very
similar to elves, but they aren't I guess.
They are Faye elves, as the booksays.
(34:42):
They're they are Faye elves, butthey're called the Ladrins and
they resemble the seasons. So castle is a fall or autumn
Aladrin. And then obviously you do have
the ability with, if the campaign and story allows it, to
change the seasons and your character can develop into a
(35:05):
summer Aladron or a winter lagron or spring Aladron, Yeah.
Mechanically, all he's got to dois trance, but.
Yeah, mechanically, all I have to do is tell Tony I'm waking up
as a summer aladron. Yeah, there's nothing he can do
about it. Let me jump through hoops, dude.
No, there's nothing you can do about it.
(35:26):
But says in the book. I I do want it.
I do want it to be more story driven.
I'm the same. Yeah, I wanted to have a purpose
of why I'm doing it because I feel like it there are very
small mechanic differences when it comes to Aladrin's and like
the things you get when it comesto like your face step or
(35:48):
whatever. But I feel like that's really
the, the aesthetics and the mechanics are different.
That's really all it is. And I feel like that's why you
can do it on such a whim. But I think for the purposes of
our story and our campaign too, I think it's going to be
primarily focused on on the story driven and and if he even
(36:11):
decides to have that change at all.
Yeah, yeah, it's a floated rule whether if a legends can or
can't. I allowed him, I allowed the
rule where he can change betweenthem as they want.
And we wrote it into the so the fake wild in campaign too.
(36:33):
And we're going to go over all this in our official.
Well, I guess have we talked about that because that's not
something we've talked about. What so bull he is castles from
the fake wild. I guess like that is that's
well. You.
You would be regardless whether you've lived there or not
because that's where a lad wouldcome from.
Yeah, yeah, I guess, but yeah, yeah.
(36:57):
So he is castles from the fae. So he's not from the material
plane, although that's where thestory obviously we're not
running campaign to just in the fae wild.
So there there will be that thatstory of you know, where he is
in his life and and what got himthere.
(37:18):
But yeah. Yeah, hopefully that I.
Don't know how much we're going to go into this in Session 0.
So if I start going on a little bit of a tangent, Tony, that you
want to save for Session 0, go ahead and just stop me.
So right. I'm not too worried.
Anything that I've shared with you guys, with the Faye Wilde or
limited to your plane in character creation is considered
(37:41):
public knowledge and not something I'm like holding like,
ah, is it a gotcha or a big reveal?
This is all basic information that may like be public when
session 1 drops. If depending on how detailed we
get with the site, how detailed Jen wants to go to the site, we
might just unleash like, hey, here's some information about
(38:01):
the world that will be explainedas we play.
But this is also free knowledge to you if you would like some
background insight on how it goes.
Yeah, so I'm not too. I'm not holding it too close to
my chest 'cause I have other stuff for that.
Right before we get into the campaign, 2 questions.
Thank you for that, by the way, Alec.
(38:21):
Obviously these are 5 EI believeso.
Yeah, we were 5E were in expanded 5E with a 2024 rule
book. Oh, that's what it is.
Yep. Yeah.
Playing 2024 rule set and I think it's a great rule set. 5
EI get a lot of love. 5 plus, sure, yeah. 5.5 right?
(38:43):
We're going to call it for what it is.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. There are a few things I don't
like about it, but I guess we'regoing to have to go with it.
It's fine. Yeah, some things, yes.
Better. Something's not as good.
We'll see how it goes. If we don't like something,
we'll change it, you know? Yeah.
That's how that's kind of how werun our games.
Like if something's not fun, we're not going to do something
that's not super fun for everybody.
(39:06):
But this person's discord is on thin ice with me asking these
kind of questions. Reese in the discord, can your
new character bust it down sexy style?
If So, what is their signature move?
It's a great, great question. I.
Toned it down slightly for this.Platform.
(39:27):
I honestly would. I I don't think.
I don't think my character would.
No, I don't think he can. I think it's probably frowned
upon. It's not in the church that he
is a member of. He probably is not allowed to
bust it down sexy style. So yeah, no, I think I don't
think he would be allowed to. Great question though.
(39:50):
Great question. Immaculate question.
Immaculate question. 1st Strike Reese.
All right, Stan Honus from Instagram.
And how are you feeling about playing a new character?
I, I guess I kind of talked about it a little bit earlier.
I'm, I'm really excited. I think I was probably, I don't
(40:13):
want to say one of the more excited people out of the group
to play something new and play something long term, but I
definitely was and I, I am looking forward to playing
something, you know, fresh. I think playing something from
level 1 again is going to be a lot of fun.
(40:33):
And I think, you know, Tony talked about this now or you
know, he talked about it all thetime and back in the day and
he's like, well, you're going tomiss the lower levels.
And I was like, yeah, whatever, bro.
Like I I don't even listen to what you say to me, but.
It's actually. True.
It's it's true now that I have already done it in the sense of
(40:53):
like, I wanted to play these high levels because that's why
you play the game. And now that I've played the
game, it's like playing your favorite game, but going back
and replaying it. So you can now adventure into
other things you might have missed as you were like, you
know, trying to get to the finish line in the very first
time. So I'm excited to go back and
(41:13):
explore a lot more of the lower level stuff and I think it'll be
like really exciting. But like obviously one of the
main things I am worried about is like playing Drill 2.0.
I think I and I talked about that earlier.
So I'm excited, but there's justa few things that I want to make
sure that I have like ironed outand like ready to go.
(41:35):
So love that. Yeah, yeah.
Nice. I like, I like most of his
questions. They're not like too revealing
about most of your stuff. Obviously we're going to try and
be as veiled as possible with the answers that we give.
Randy in the Discord asked what lessons that you learned role
(41:58):
play wise will you bring with you from Drell to your new
character in Campaign 2? A few things, well 2 main things
and I think we talked about thisa little bit on the after show
of the entire campaign, but you as a player don't always need to
(42:23):
talk. You don't always have to have
your character contribute stuff like you can let the scenario RP
out between other people, whether it's two NPCS or two
characters like you don't alwayshave to.
And, and maybe it is a little bit different.
I will say because we are a podcast where you almost feel
(42:45):
obligated to like to contribute to the conversation or hear
like, you know, listeners want to hear everybody.
It's not just the Tony podcast, right?
It's not just the menace podcast.
It's like, so you feel like you have to commit to, you know,
providing stuff, but it's not necessarily true, right?
(43:06):
You just rely a lot more on yourfellow cast members.
You know, we did talk about this.
Now we are going from four people to five people, so we are
going to have that other step of, you know, another
contributor. So just realizing like you don't
(43:28):
need to contribute like useless information or something that's
already been discussed. You can kind of just like let it
go. I would say is like #1 and then
number 2 is just purely like reading the room, just like as
AD and D player or as a character as well.
(43:50):
Just like understanding the situations you're in, how to
deal with them. Not everything's like a smash or
grab, you know, stuff like that.So those are probably the two
biggest things that I'm going tobe taking with me in the
campaign too, for sure. I would have said a very similar
thing about not always talking. Yeah, and I think you were
probably the one that brought that up in the after show of
(44:12):
campaign too, but I feel like you made a really good point
with it, so I stole it for my answer.
Yeah, it's, it's, it's tough because you want you always,
you're always thinking of jokes and you want everybody to laugh
and have a good time, you know? Yeah.
But sometimes you just got to let a scene play out or let
characters have their moment. And that's something I learned
(44:33):
as well. Exactly.
Yeah, love, love that answer of course, but the next one is from
Jam the Duck. So Jam the Duck, SJEM the Duck
in Discord. What is your character flaw in
the new campaign? I put it here for you to answer
(44:56):
as much or little as you want to.
I could feel Tony staring at me.No, I feel I'm trying to figure
out a way to put this. I think a lot of the character
(45:20):
flaw the, the main character flaw that this character's
probably going to have, and it'sprobably one that a lot of
people have in the world, is like growing up in the world
that you grew up in and not knowing what else is out there,
right? Like not knowing how the world
really works outside of your bubble.
(45:41):
And I feel like that's probably one of the biggest issues that
my character is probably going to run into, especially being a
paladin from a church in a very specific area of a very specific
realm coming to the material plane.
So just dealing with a lot of that.
Like if, you know, Reese's question was funny, but it's
(46:02):
like the sexy dance, right? Like, you know, my character's
not going to do that. So like, if like Dan's new
character starts busting it down, he's going to be like,
what, like, what the fuck is going on?
And like, though that might be alittle bit of a an issue right
between the character. So I feel like that is going to
be probably, I would say that is, yeah, that would probably be
(46:23):
my my character's biggest flaw right now.
My goal as a character is to gethim to bust it down at least
once in campaign. Oh, let's break it.
Damn. That is interesting though,
because Menace had a lot of thiskind of character flaw, but in a
much different way where his wasmore just a blatant ignorance.
(46:47):
Right. But I, I was thinking about this
when you created a character, whereas yours is going to be
more like, no, I have a certain way of thinking like you should
be like this, you should be likeme kind of thing.
Possibly that might be the way you play it.
It's going to be really interesting to see how you play
that kind of character. I'm really excited about where
they're from too. Yeah, yeah.
(47:09):
I think it'll be good. I think it's going to be a
large, I think it's going to be a good storytelling plot line.
I think. I think it's going to give a lot
of depth not only to, you know, my character, but also the
relationship between my character and the rest of the
(47:30):
party, as well as the rest of the world.
So yeah, yeah, I'm excited. It's a really good question.
Yeah, which by the way, everybody in our Discord and
Instagram, you understood the assignment.
Yeah, yeah. These are like really good
fucking questions. Unlike.
Yeah, and they knew we weren't going to give away too much, you
know, So they asked really good, like, questions about our
(47:53):
process, you know, what, Like, what are we thinking about?
Which, by the way, another banger here, Squeezy Bruce, is
your back story going to be a tragic one or one of valor
again? Valor.
So my is this a like a wire you can't like is this like a wire
(48:15):
adventuring question? It kind of comes off as that
maybe I'm wrong. Kind of yeah like what's like is
your overarching goal going to be 1 of valor or is your back
story going to be tragic so you're avenging something or
like I think that's what they'regoing for.
I. Want to say.
(48:39):
Without revealing too much of. Course I know, I know.
I want to say either 2 words come to mind or one because I
can't think of the word that describes the other one.
Rectification I think is a really good word.
Or revenge. I feel like one of those two
(49:01):
words I feel like describes it. I would say justice.
See, I thought that, but I kind.Of kind of rectification.
Yeah, right. That's like I feel I feel like
rectification is a little bit more of a scheme in yeah, more
in depth. No, and I keep sorry, I keep
looking up because it's I have all my notes right here on my
(49:23):
wall. No, I'm just kidding.
But yeah, yeah, he. Wrote all of his notes in
sharpie on his wall. Yep, yeah, for sure.
Yeah, I have a giant dry erase board right above my head.
It's just held up by 1 screw. So nice.
Thank you for that squeezy Brucegot you really got Alec.
(49:44):
Think of that one which is cool. This is good.
This is a good one, yeah. Yeah, and then this one is from
Demu Tani in Discord. Demu Tani Will your character
have a signature weapon or a preferred weapon?
(50:06):
I guess I just caught that. Hey, Ron.
All right. Wow.
That's just a real question to what I asked.
I guess we will find out. Yeah, I don't know.
That's a great question. To be determined.
To be determined. Yeah, you tried, tried Tony,
(50:29):
but. I tried to get an answer but you
know. Yeah, Kaden Blade in Discord
asked if you sat down. This is my favorite question of
everybody's question, by the way.
Sorry, I am picking favorites. Kaden Blade asked.
If you sat down to have a beer with your new character, what
would you ask him? Damn.
(50:51):
This is a really good question. That's like cool concept of a
question. Like as a player, like what
would I want to know about my character?
I think I would probably ask thecharacter how far they're
(51:12):
willing to go to rectify the problem that currently exists in
their life or to seek that justice or revenge.
Because there are, you know, part being part of a paladin and
having these religious commitments and being a part of
like the church and whatever. There are very clear lines of
do's and don'ts, and I think identifying those and figuring
(51:36):
out, you know, how far you're willing to go to, you know, on
those lines, I think is would besomething I'd like to know and I
think we're all going to find out together.
I. Think so?
Yeah, that's. I love that question so much.
Yeah, it's a really good one. Because it really puts you in
(51:56):
like the mindset, right? It's like, yeah, if I'm putting
myself out, we're looking in what's what's the most important
thing I want to know. That's cool.
Well, before we get on to all the bonus questions from Twitch,
Alec, is there anything you wantto just say about your campaign
to character? Get ready for this.
Get ready for that. You know I'm going to be
(52:17):
dropping heavy fucking smites. Tony's not going to be ready for
it. Yeah, the damage is going to
keep flowing. That's the only thing that's
going to be similar between drell and casual is the amount
of DPS I'm putting out on Tony's.
Bad guys. So yeah, we'll see about that.
You. Know Tony, my my dungeon master
and my casual campaign. She has a rule where you're not
(52:40):
allowed to crit on smites. What do you think?
About that, sounds like a lame as DM if you ask me.
That's what I'm talking, yeah. Yeah.
I would have logged out of this call right now if he would have
agreed so. And really?
He's got nerfed into 2024. Which I was gonna see.
Maybe we just roll that back, which is why I don't like 2024
(53:01):
'cause we kind of talked. About it, no, they needed needed
it. Honestly, it's, it's one of the
things I liked about the I there's, there's some nurse
where I'm like, I get why they did it.
It's the balance to early levels.
Yeah. But I'm all honestly, I'm all
for it. I know a lot of people aren't,
but I am. Me, I'm not for it.
(53:22):
It's, it's, it's, that's what itis.
It's everyone who plays Paladin is not for it, and everyone who
doesn't play Paladin is for it. It's pretty much what it is.
What? Do you mean I play paladin?
Yeah but now you're Adm, you're a full time DM now.
So now you're like, you didn't even care bro.
I played them for 9 episodes until I finally switched.
(53:44):
Sorry man, don't claim you anymore.
We're on to the Twitch questions.
Yeah, with a really important one.
Tony, what's the name of that MPC over there?
What MPC? The one right over there to our
left, we just talked to a guard. What's her name?
Oh it's it's modice. Yeah, right.
(54:16):
So anyways, moving on, Mammoth Glass has favorite.
Tony walked away by the way, listeners that might not look at
the screen, Mammoth Glass asks Favorite meal to cook or eat.
This is nothing to do with DND. Just yeah, that's a great
question. I'm going to go purely off
character or sorry, person player, mainly because I don't
(54:41):
know yet if Kassel is a cook. That's a really good thing to
maybe think about because we aregoing to be doing this a little
bit differently. So maybe cooking might be a
thing that I develop. I'm actually liking it the more
I talk about it. But my favorite meal to cook at
home. God, I have a few.
(55:02):
Number one, I'll say this. I love my air fryer.
It's me and me and my air fryer are like best friends.
I finally got a book. It's, uh, yapo Drusa.
Yapo drusa yapa yapa drusa. Yapa yapa drusa.
Oh, you know what? I can.
Polynesian Roman. And they're, they're a Baker.
(55:35):
Of they're a Baker, yes, let Tony cook.
Or in this case, bake. All right, all right, so I got
this. Let me see.
Can I see it? Yeah, Hero's fees.
Hero's Fees, the official DND cookbook, and I'm just going to
randomly open it to a certain page that has food, Yeah.
(55:58):
Dude dude, that's how I get the food recipes for campaign well
under dark. Lotus with fire lichen spread.
Interesting dog. Yeah, people are like dog.
Bro dude I fucking love this book man.
It really helps for like food recipes and stuff when you're
playing. Great.
Oh yeah bro. Rovian butterscotch boy dude.
(56:26):
So good, I know, so good. There are some really good ones
in here. I honestly have not made any of
these, but I do. Like to our 12 hour stream,
we're clicking these dude, I could.
Honestly, set up that that couldbe doable.
We might be able to make that work.
Yo Dan, you should make this with your dad.
This. This dog W Platinum right that
(56:47):
sex is true easy. Let's do it.
Dude, Oh my God, a lot. Of yeah, done and done all the
good. Drinks in here, too.
Yeah, I look at it. I got a liquor store right
across the street. Man, I should, like, dabble.
What's the worst that can happen?
But to answer the original question, my personal favorite
thing to make is homemade spaghetti.
I make like a homemade spaghettisauce.
(57:09):
It's really good. Spaghetti bread.
Pretty much like Bolognese minusthe carrots.
And then I do that. Yeah.
What do you mean? What?
What? What do you?
Mean minus the carrots. Why would I put something I'm
allergic to in a sauce that I'm making?
I would just put carrots in a fucking sauce bro.
Damn, that's where I'm that's like it has.
(57:31):
To be Italian. What do you?
Mean Did the Did the Italian guynot realize that carrots are put
in Bolognese sauce? Peas brother, Peas not carrots
bro. I've been to.
Italy dog, don't tell me what you're what are you talking
about? Like.
Fuck I you know that that does, no?
Oh my God, bro, Oh my. God, I'm not gonna go into the
(57:52):
controversy of. Bolognese.
Right now, Bolognese sauce you will only see.
Carrots are supposed to be bolognese sauce, not peas.
So Leilani asked the question, do you next question, do you
regret ever having taken the levels of barbarian, which we
kind of answered a little bit. Yes, I think to revisit that, I
think we talked about it last stream, but yeah, I think so.
(58:14):
I think it was really cool for the story.
Mechanically. I think it was kind of a waste.
There's only certain things I used it for and I had to get
that. I think it was like this fourth
level to get like the Dragon tail defensive.
But besides that, like, I mean, I attacked recklessly a few
times. Yeah, No, I think it would have
(58:38):
been cool to be a level 20 fighter, so.
Yeah. And that, I will say, has kind
of scarred me. So I would say don't expect
Kassel to a multi class is something very significant in
the story that would cause it would have to make it happen.
(58:59):
And and I'm not shutting the door on it completely because if
the story allows for it and the story expects it, then I'll do
it. But just kind of no.
No, yeah, great answering that again, which we we did kind of
answer last time, but what's theI'm now I'm out of place.
(59:25):
Sorry, that's my bad. Terrible note taker.
Same front. Diffenheimer asked.
Do you think with the knowledge from the first campaign it will
be difficult to not met a game at lower levels?
I'll tell you right now, it won't be.
No, yeah. And I'll say minus Tony's as
(59:48):
just Alec, one of the main things, and I think I did it
really well in campaign one, wasmeta gaming.
Obviously there's decisions I would make as a character and as
a player just because I'm like, I'm not stupid.
But there were several times where I made the wrong decision
as Drell, knowing that it was the wrong decision to make that
(01:00:10):
could end it, that making that decision could potentially
impact the party. So I don't think it'll be an
issue. And I think we're all really
good at that and kind of like calling each other out and like,
Nah, dude, you can't fucking do that.
Like, you know, like just and. We know that.
(01:00:31):
Yeah, so. Alex the best at it.
I just, I just looked up every monster every time we fought him
and looked up all the weaknessesand could you imagine I.
Believe it. See Carrots are in Bolognese
dude. I keep losing my sky DM Sky
(01:00:52):
Devil's next DM Skydevil is next.
Thought you should know my girlfriend just compared me
listening to the podcast to her listening to nothing but Taylor
Swift. It's not a question, just a
comment I thought was hilarious.Well, you don't fuck with T
Swift on. That is interesting take.
(01:01:13):
That's an interesting take, I will say.
Listens to us like it's Taylor Swift.
That's pretty epic. Now, which album would you say
we're going on though? Yeah.
The eras to her, if you're like,no, I don't know.
That's the only one I really know.
Good album, yeah. Yeah, that's the only one.
I got so sorry and then I think this will be the last one of the
(01:01:39):
night for Alec here. CPT Fluffle Puff, one of my
favorite names. Side question, so the new
personality join the campaign, is there going to be a live cast
about her as well? Yes, yes, yes, there will be.
I don't know. Let me see if I can pull it up.
(01:02:01):
I don't know it off the top of my head.
Three we got. We're three away from it.
Yeah. So the 13th next week is Jared,
the 20th is me, the 27th you will be meeting Kylie.
Yes, there it is. Yeah, she's a.
Good time, man, she's a good time.
(01:02:21):
So you're going to have a lot offun when you.
Meet her by the Swifties. That sucks.
Dude, they know how to hack. Bro.
I don't recognize. I want to fuck with them.
They know how to hack, dude. It's crazy.
Crazy. It's rough.
I did skip one. I did skip one question.
Hypnotic lasagna. Do you think this might propel
careers into voice acting? You can only hope.
(01:02:45):
You can only hope, you know? Definitely not mine.
Yeah, definitely not mine. I'm not cut out for voice
acting, and I feel like I'm veryawkward sometimes behind a mic
and the way I say things. So not mine, but everyone else
in the sworn campaign, yeah, they could probably do it.
(01:03:09):
It's funny because I feel like Jared would be the one that
would be the most self-consciousabout it.
Oh yeah, he, he, he needs maybe you'd maybe, maybe not because
there'd be a lot of preparation and he's good.
He's good as long as there's a ton of preparation.
Sometimes he he struggles with the free form stuff.
I think that was his biggest lesson.
I'm going to pre guess that thatwould be his answer.
(01:03:31):
Biggest lesson he learned from playing DND is getting good at
all the thinking on your feet kind of stuff.
Why add a woman to the group? Because she was the best out of
all the auditions, that's why. Yeah, Kylie was dope, DOP
straight up. Wanted a fresh voice and she
comes from a Well we'll talk about it when it's.
Her. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We'll let her. Debut, but there's skills there.
(01:03:56):
We had 55, I think 55 auditions, something like that, and she was
best fit personality wise, voiceacting wise, all that kind of
stuff. So we'll talk about that.
Like Tony said, when we get there maybe she won't want to
hear us talk about it, but I'm sure y'all are going to be
asking about it. Yeah, we got 55 auditions. 55 no
(01:04:22):
lasagna. We we got it for sure.
We just my dog ate it. So that's unfortunately yeah,
that was not submitted. Sorry.
This one woman was like, I'll doit for $9000.
Yeah, like, OK, reference, we'llsend.
You. They were second for sure, yeah.
Yeah, forgot about that one. Patrick and hey, welcome first
(01:04:45):
time chatter and yeah, 55. Oh, this is insane.
We spent a lot. Of time auditioning.
Peoples, it was a lot. Yeah, I sifted through a lot of
auditions during that process. I was just sitting there like,
like a zombie looking through some of them.
Yeah. We had to turn down Anne
Hathaway though. We did have to turn out Anne
(01:05:07):
Hathaway. Yeah, didn't have the right fit.
It was like a scheduling conflict.
Something about there was product 2 was weird.
I'll say we're probably too goodfor her anyway.
So, you know, does this your ownroom with a window?
What are you doing here, Glass? Get back in your cage.
(01:05:29):
Who let you out? Who let you out again?
Yeah, have you been here for theentire hour?
Yo cut that rash of tug. Yeah.
Clearly we're feeding him too much.
He's having too much energy. He's walking up the damn stairs.
Take it up the. Stairs just a little gasping emo
it'd. Be a bucket with some water in
(01:05:50):
it that we just let down every so often, yeah.
He's he's going to be like in Joe Dirt where he's like looking
at the cars for sale on the book.
He's like, man, they got it. That's right, class.
Class before was like, what's for dinner?
He goes. What do you usually just spits
gum in my mouth that calls it dinner, he said.
That girl, my goodness, sometimes I don't even chew it.
(01:06:13):
Real quick A. Little well, I know, I think
we're going to go ahead and justice for the you can go
outside when he hits his quota. Oh my goodness, I like it's your
episode. Give us a wreck.
Oh man, a wreck. Yeah.
(01:06:37):
Yeah, wreck me. Okay, I'm not going to lie, this
one is kind of a cool one. I started watching it yesterday.
It's on Netflix. It's called the Hellbound Good
Show. Yeah, yeah, it's about these
people. They get visited by an Angel
notifying them they're going to be sent to hell within like X
amount of time and when that time happens, these like demons
(01:06:59):
come out of nowhere and like beat the shit out of them and.
They run the fade like. And it's crazy, like there's
like this old lady and they're just Molla wopping this old
lady. There's like three of them and
they're just beating the crap out of her.
And then they like expel her soul to hell and then then
they're just dead. And everyone's like cool with
(01:07:22):
it. So then everyone like turns into
like this whole like, Oh my God,this is like God sending the
message that like we shouldn't send.
And it's a really funny show. Oh, it's so good and.
Like the demons are like giant, like massive gorillas.
Yeah, they look like the giant gorillas.
That's exactly what they look like, Yeah.
(01:07:43):
And. My goodness.
Is so it's a hell bound I believe is what it's called.
It's not anime, it's not anime, it's live action.
The first episode is literally only 6 episodes or first season
6 episodes, second season 6 episodes.
So I'm starting the second season tonight.
It's really funny to be honest. I was like watching this and I
(01:08:05):
was like what the fuck dude I was like I just kept realizing I
was just watching the next episode 1 after I got.
To start the second season too. Yeah, yeah.
You're sharing your screen. Share your screen.
Share your screen. No one's sharing my screen.
We got to do the chaos dice you.Forget about that.
We got to do the chaos roll. We're out all right.
My. Backflix Netflix Hellbound on
Netflix. All right, let me get the let me
(01:08:27):
get the sheet, the chaos sheet up first because I need a bit
scared to remember what's on here.
So for those that have not been following our Kickstarter, every
time we reach a certain goal amount of money, we have to roll
a punishment that one of us or all of us has to do.
And we reached a tier. We were not ready for that.
(01:08:50):
We did not think we're going to reach in here we are.
We're about to be doing yet another chaos dice.
So once I remember where that. Sheet is Oh my God.
Because I'm an organized human being.
(01:09:12):
I think it's like pen somewhere,right?
Or am I? Yeah, probably.
You know, that's probably where.Oh, there it is.
All right. So what has already been rolled?
The table is here, so we've already rolled.
Alec will wax his arms. Jared will sit in our public
(01:09:36):
Discord voice channel for 12 hours.
Come say hi. Yep, we will play mini TNT on a
mini table. Yeah.
Can't wait for that one. Jared will roll 2D10 and run
that many miles I believe it was.
Miles. Not the movie.
Dan will roll AD 100 and drive that many miles.
(01:09:56):
A direction of the discord's choice, so I'll be doing that
soon. Got my breaks done today.
Yep. 86 miles, yeah. Come, he's going to come visit.
We're going to. Drive.
I will see. It depends on where they send
me. Dan will give away his actual
campaign. 1 pumpkin dice. I'm really sad about that one.
Yeah, get rigged. Someone's getting those.
(01:10:17):
Tony's giving away his deck. Many things, yes.
Yeah. Wait 86 miles north of you, Dan,
could you end up? No, I would not Canada I'd.
Be like a Hampton. That would be so fucking funny
and then you'd have to like justlive stream the the border.
Crossing be like, yeah, I'm going to record it all.
(01:10:39):
Right, let's roll this die. And we do have to do a 12 hour
stream. But without further ado, the
roll the. Stream for 12 hours.
Yeah, we have to. Did you forget about that one?
I didn't realize it was a 12 hour stream.
I thought it was just ace. Nope.
Oh shit, I got to take time. Oh my God I didn't realize you
(01:10:59):
have to have 12 hours. It's a 50.
Oh boy, I don't like how even that is it.
Was 50. I already did that.
Damn. We'll give away.
Oh, damn, that's me driving. Oh, that's OK.
What was the pumpkin dye 50? Oh, OK.
Oh, no. Sorry.
That that was 65 to 60. Six, you're also going to be
(01:11:20):
doing. That right, Yeah.
All right, let's do this for this. 84.
Oh. 84. That's a high one.
Feel like that's a campaign one mate.
Yes. I don't know, you said that.
Yes. What Tony Ah Biscuits gives.
(01:11:43):
Each player one get out of jail free card on a check of their
choice. Nice, nice.
You have no idea how long I'm going to hold on to that.
Oh man, no expiration. That feels good.
(01:12:06):
Yeah. That was the only reward we had
on here. That's AW guys.
That is AW for the players W yeah.
Oh, that's good. That I'm letting you know right
now that is going to be given toyou in session 1, roughly 30
minutes in. Not at the start, OK.
(01:12:29):
OK, start a timer. Start a timer.
Done. Give a kick.
Oh, any check of her choice. I want to see how it keeps it at
campaign three. Yeah, true.
I told you I'm going to hold on to it.
I'm going to hold on to it. As well.
That's good. I'll allow it.
I will allow it. That's good campaign option.
Bro that would be the deepest card out the backpack if I was
(01:12:53):
just campaign three. Everyone forgot about it and it
was like, Nah, man. It's a check.
Remember it's not a a hit, it's not a roll to hit, it's a check.
So if like I failed a saving throw or no, I think it's just
just an ability check. It's not a saving throw.
It's. Easy something we roll?
(01:13:14):
Or can it also be like if we cast something on somebody and
they pass can we use to get out of jail free to make them re
roll it? Or I guess would it be an auto
succeed if it's an? Auto succeed.
So it's like that. That's what made it like not
overpowering because it's just like this check and because
saving throws could be like super overpowering and rolling
(01:13:37):
the hit and stuff like that. So it's only for us then as a as
a check. Yeah, Acrobatics check or kind
of check. OK, never mind.
You'll have that to start and wewill divulge that as such, Yes.
Yeah. Because we we did balance that
with Tony before making this April.
OK, that's totally fine. All right.
(01:13:58):
Your boy has some business to doin the porcelain office, so we
need to go ahead and wrap this up.
Yep, last thing we're going to do because I don't want to edit
it in later and maybe I'll just add this in to each one after
this. We are currently redoing all of
the Patreon shout outs and it's going to be new for camping too.
(01:14:19):
