I hear a lot of guys talk about getting in CLOSE to BUCK BEDDING, but Johnny Stewart is one of the first I have had on the podcast that makes a living with this strategy.  We discussed the imperatives around how to scout areas to put yourself in a position to get in tight and kill a buck close to his bedding area.

Johnny is a seasoned public land whitetail hunter with over 30 years of experience. His deep understanding of mature whitetails and their adaptability in heavily hunted environments has earned him a respected place among the hunting community. 

A good bit of our conversation focused around the way the wind works in hill country and uneven terrain, understanding thermals, and learning how to use them to your advantage to move into bedding areas. We also spent a good deal of time talking about how to scout and hunt specific parts of the country with focus on hill country, the midwest, and timbered environments.  

Johnny's journey to proficiency as a hunter is a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport. He emphasizes the importance of learning directly from the animals and adapting strategies to specific environments.
