#178: El año pasado, en el episodio #136 sobre los premios Nobel 2023, incluimos al final -pero de forma muy breve- los Premios IgNobel 2023…yyyy nos quedamos con ganas de hablar mucho más al respecto. Así que este año no cometeremos el mismo error, ¡y les dedicaremos a los IgNobel 2024 todo un episodio!
Para refrescarte la memoria - o contarte más al respecto por si es la primera vez que escuchas de ellos - los premios IgNobel se han celebrado desde 1991 y buscan celebrar y honrar descubrimientos científicos que “primero te hacen reír…y luego pensar”. A veces parecen una burla, algo absurdo que nos hace pensar que “quién estudiaría algo así”…¡pero son investigaciones de verdad! Normalmente, las ceremonias de premiación de los IgNobel se celebran en el MIT o Harvard, exceptuando los años de pandemia del 2020-2023 en donde fueron muy creativamente virtuales. Esta anual ceremonia, además de haber sido llamado “el evento científico más esperado del año” por la revista Nature, ha ganado premios de comunicación científica… y como buena noticia, ¡suelen quedar grabadas en YouTube! De hecho, verlas ha sido uno de los pasatiempos de Septiembre favoritos de la Rana… así que está súper recomendado jaja.
