Ian McMillen and Joel Thiele welcome to the show Mrs. Elizabeth Landis, Assistant to the President at New Saint Andrews College.
In this episode, Ian and Joel ask Mrs. Landis about the Civics Club, Christian involvement in civics, and her Christian testimony.
Elizabeth Landis is one of the two assistants to President Merkle and has served in that capacity at the college for over five years. She founded and leads the NSA Civics Club which is beginning its fourth year. Civics Club serves as a segue between college life and civic life. At the meetings, students seek to understand how local government functions. What is the difference between city and county government? What can you do in your community to make a difference? NSA’s Civics Club explores various answers to these questions. Elizabeth is in the process of writing her first book, The Forgotten Realm: Civics for American Christians scheduled to be published by Roman Roads Press in the spring of 2024. She and her husband Greg are the parents of three NSA graduates, one current NSA student, and one prospective student.

Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
