                                THIS IS YOUR HOUSE-YOUR RULES   In my history of traveling the world for the last seven decades, I've stayed in hundreds of different hotels, motels, and rented houses. All of those have a special thing in common. I don't own those. I'm just borrowing them for a short season and before I go into those dwelling places, I make a commitment to take care of them. Then I usually leave a deposit to guarantee my actions. It seems to be a common practice to hear the teachings of the scriptures concerning our spiritual walk, shaking our head in agreement, then not doing it. That would be what Paul describes as a double minded person. When you hear the word of God and don't do it.. So is with this great revelation that God himself dwells in us by the Holy Spirit power. We sing about it and even shout about it in our church services yet we do not live like the Holy Spirit and God himself in our bodies. In first Corinthians 6, Paul is dealing with some in the Corinthian church that were visiting the prostitutes and sleeping with them. He tells them don't you know that when you sleep with a prostitute, you become one with them and them also become one with you. Paul goes on to say it's a proven fact that when that happens, the two become a single body. P/b Then inverse 19 he declares that we are the sacred temple of the Holy Spirit and we are not our own. We have been bought with Price therefore glorify God in your body. Wow! Think about it for a moment.
