WHAT'S NOT THERE? THEN IT'S THERE. THE POWER TO BELIEVE!   We've all been there at some point or another in our journey through life and its joys. You know. In the dumps, a place we can't see out of and have no idea how to find the answer. How did we ever make it through that dark time? And here we stand, happy and full of joy today. It's a mystery to many how they make it through. You and I know, because of our Bible knowledge, that the angels of the Lord work with us, bringing us hope and a word from the Father that we don't hear with our natural ears, but we hear with our spirit. Have you ever heard the old slogan? A stitch in time saves nine. The point being, if you take care of something ahead of time, it won't be destroyed or fall apart. Don't you suppose God knows that principle and knows how to work it into our daily life? I do. It's in those desperate times that we need a word from God. One word from the Holy Spirit can change the day and the course of our lives forever. Peter heard one word from Jesus and walked on the water. The lame man beside the pool heard seven words from Jesus and walked after 38 years of bondage. It's no wonder the scriptures tell us to meditate upon the word day and night. This is why we are to fill our minds and souls with His Word so that it will saturate our spirits with the knowledge of God's voice and his word. We could use a new phrase in our lives: a word from God in time saves a life. That may not rhyme, but it certainly has heavenly dynamics behind it. When the dark clouds roll in, and it seems like you can't see past the problem. Take time to listen and get that word from the Holy Ghost.
