WWE 2K23's latest patch 1.21 sets a bad example of how to handle community creators such as those who create characters/players, rosters & scenarios within our favorite sports video games. Offline games do not typically enjoy the plethora of updates that the more lucrative modes gain during the yearly cycle. None of us want to face cheaters & exploiters of the game but when people unearth unused & hidden assets is where we learn what these companies are keeping from us for better or for worse. Banning these folks is just a way of sweeping the lack of updates under the rug as opposed to being transparent with your consumers of why things were kept away from paying customers even if we don't like the explanation. These does not bode well for other sports video games even the ones under the Take Two umbrella.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
