Who is your podcast for exactly? A lot of us know what we want our show to be about but what a lot of people need to put more thought into is, “who is their show meant for?” and “what kind of audience are you trying to attract and connect with”.
Do you know what their interests are? Do you know what their background is?
Do you know what pain points they may have?
As the saying goes, if you try to help everybody, then you wind up helping nobody… well the same goes for podcasting. But with a little time and insight, you can identify who it is your show is for and enjoy the clarity it provides you when you are planning your episodes and deciding on what kind of value it is you need to offer.
In this episode we will cover:
+The benefits of Identifying your target audience
+Some ideas and exercises that will help you identify your target audience
+The questions you need to be able to answer about your listeners to understand the direction you need to have for your show
