Gareth and the Lost Island Trailer

Gareth and the Lost Island follows the adventures of Professor Gareth Mintel, and the crew of the airship Glorious Dawn, on their quest to find a mythical lost island. This Fantasy Adventure-Comedy is sure to appeal to fans of the Discworld Series, The Princess Bride, and Mel Brooks films. Show premieres May 7th, 2023 and releases twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays for the first 11 episodes.

[Music] Gareth (00:00):
Hi I'm Gareth Mintel, and I guess  this is my story. When this all started, I thought
I had everything I had ever wanted as the youngest professor in the history of the University
Arcanum. That all changed when I got caught in a rather embarrassing situation with the wife

(00:22):
of one of the richest merchants on the Island of Draconia. Merchant: Melinda I know you're in there

my love open up my little shrub. Melinda (00:28):
Wood  rot! Bastard wasn't supposed to be back until next

week. Gareth (00:35):
In my defense, I was really drunk  that night. A toast to misplaced accent marks.
The next day, I found myself saddled with the seemingly impossible quest to find the Lost Island
of Mascal, or the permanently banished from my beloved University. Determined not to let me face

danger alone, I was joined by my adoptive father, Dr Tralnis Granitestaff (an omnisexual dwarf with

a heart of gold)... Tralnis (01:05):
The only thing we  dwarves do more often than drink ale is have sex,

and we drink a lot of ale.... Gareth (01:10):
... and  our simian butler, and my best friend, Henry....

Henry (01:16):
Are you suggesting I should shave my  balls?... Gareth

Well let's be honest he'd have to be to hire us. Elizabeth: I suppose it doesn't hurt that the

professor is good looking. Izzy (01:33):
God yes he's, I  mean that has nothing to do with the job.

Pilot (01:41):
Barely adequate cook, my people have a saying  perfect for situations like this - do not let
the cargo ramp hit you on the ass on your way out.... Gareth:... we set out on a globetrotting
adventure across Hadronus. Along the way we made both friends... Teesh: Uh, Hi Gareth. Fancy meeting

you here. Okay, even I
thought that sounded lame. Gareth:... and enemies in the form of skeletons...Izzy: Did
I say skinny bitches? I meant that those bleached bones are really thinning. It's a good look for you.

Gareth (02:16):
...pirates... Pirate
towards us from the clouds below. Gareth:,,, and an angry venomous duck Venomous Duck: Quack-hiss
Even with all of this happening I still managed to fall in love. Tralnis: Mythical Gods
