* Representing 21st Century RnB - Part II *

Back in January 2024, Rolling Stone released their 100 Greatest R&B Songs of the 21st Century. The list created lots of buzz; some people loved it, others pointed out what was missing, and the artists featured in it, celebrated.

I have always been a huge fan of R&B, so I decided to do my own response.

In January 2024, I created my own list and dedicated the whole Gimme a Beat to it. 

Since the list was very long, I broke the show into the two parts, but never got to the second part. This December, I decided to go back to the 2nd part of that list.

Considering that R&B, with funky, contagious beats is all about brining out a plethora of emotions, comforting, happy and nostalgic vibes, I thought it is very appropriate for my Xmas 🎄🎅 🎄show of 2025. This is also the time of reflection and for me putting this list together was like walking down the memory lane, most of these songs reminded me of the past times, boyfriends, lovers, and fun times with friends.
