Should Christians care about refugees and immigrants?

Listen as Tim Jordan explores this question with his special guest.

You should know the differences between the words, “refugee” and “immigrant.” The key difference between a “refugee” and an “immigrant” lies in their reason for migration. “Refugees” are forced to flee their homes due to persecution, war, or violence. “Refugees” seek safety elsewhere, often seeking asylum or refugee status in another country. “Immigrants,” on the other hand, choose to move to another country for various reasons, including economic opportunities, family reunification, education, or to escape difficult living conditions.

Due process protections in the U.S. apply to all persons, both citizens and non-citizens, including individuals and corporations. This includes all human beings, regardless of their citizenship or immigration status. Even non-citizens are entitled to due process within the U.S., meaning they cannot be arbitrarily deprived of their rights. The Due Process Clause, found in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments, ensures that no person can be deprived of "life, liberty, or property" without due process of law.

In the United States, children born on U.S. soil are automatically granted U.S. citizenship. This is a principle known as birthright citizenship, which is guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This means that the child becomes a U.S. citizen regardless of the parents' immigration status or the parents’ citizenship status.  =================================
