The Story of Saul the Persecutor

Welcome to our Christian Women's Series where our purpose is to discover women's biblical past, to encourage women today, and in the future, to confidently embrace God's spirit-led destinies for each one of us. 

Today, we are looking at the life of Saul the Pharisee and persecutor, to learn how he became the Apostle Paul. 

I cannot think of a more misunderstood biblical character than Paul. For someone that warned us about creating divisions within the church, his letters which were meant to bring unity, have actually brought contradiction and confusion to his biblical authority. The debate lies within this question: Was Paul teaching eternal truth or was he simply responding to the needs of his time?
