We can’t receive the microwaved version of our walk with God. This relationship takes time to develop. It takes time to learn the voice of the Holy Spirit. And it takes God time to continue to mold us to look more and more like Christ.

So, wherever you are in your journey with God, know that this is a journey worth savoring.

In the Bible, Jesus warns about false prophets who appear to have good intentions but are actually- really bad news. He uses a parable of good and bad trees, and He says by their fruit, we’ll recognize them. Our actions and our words are the fruit we produce to those around us.

If we’re being honest, I’d say most of us act differently around our closest friends than our coworkers, bosses or even parents. Sometimes it’s just because certain people bring out various parts of our personalities. Other times our professional environments dictate different behaviors. This is perfectly normal.

What was the last new device you purchased? A new phone, new computer, or a new security device? It can be so frustrating having limited knowledge of this new gadget.
