There is a yearning inside of you for a deep and meaningful relationship with God. You love Him, but not as much as you know you could. Or should. You struggle with feelings of guilt because you know that often you’re just going through the motions rather than eagerly drinking from the well that never runs dry. You go through spurts of motivation and excitement and then crash down on feelings of discouragement, apathy, or hopelessness. I know what it’s like to feel just a little lost. A little bit stuck. Or even, just flat-out complacent. I understand that the reality of mom life and the day-to-day tasks can get in the way of all our best intentions. I also know that sometimes it’s just sheer exhaustion that keeps us from moving forward and growing in the Word of God and in our faith. God knows that motherhood is demanding. Yet He made a way for you to be a mom and have a vibrant spiritual life and connection with Him at the same time. He means for you to thrive in life, not merely get by. Let me be that voice in your ear (literally and figuratively) pushing you forward. Encouraging you. Sharing stories of healing and victories. Reminding you of His amazing love and amazing grace. And, maybe, giving you a swift kick in the pants to keep you going. My name is Helen Siemens, and in this podcast, I want to talk to you like I would to a friend over a hot cup of coffee, reminding you of the truth you already know. Stirring you up to love and good works. Cheering you on as your sister in Christ, walking with you through spiritual growth and intentional living.
Real change rarely happens in big, dramatic moments. More often, it begins with small, faithful choices that don’t feel impressive at the time.
In this episode, I talk about how quiet faithfulness and small, consistent action leads to meaningful, lasting transformation. Not overnight. Not through pressure or perfection. But through obedience, patience, and trusting God with the process.
If you’ve ever felt discouraged because your ...
What do you do when you don’t like who you are? When you look at your life, your choices, or your habits and feel disappointed or ashamed? Most of us try to “fix ourselves” by striving harder, proving ourselves, or chasing approval from people who will never be able to give us what our hearts truly desire.
In today’s episode, we’re talking about what the Bible really says about identity, self-worth, and God’s love, and why true tra...

In today’s episode, we’re talking about the biblical power of words, why Scripture says life and death are in the tongue, and how the way you speak (even about yourself!) can either build your lif...

Do you feel like you’re constantly striving, battling guilt, comparing yourself to other Christian women, or feeling unworthy of God’s promises? These struggles reveal how you truly see God and how you believe He sees you.
What you believe about His love will always show up in the way you live your everyday life—your thoughts, your parenting, your actions, and your reactions.
In this episode, we’re talking about what these patterns...
Do you ever catch yourself thinking, “I should be further along by now”? Maybe you thought you’d be more patient, more mature — more this, more that. But instead, you see all the ways you still fall short.
In today’s episode, we’re talking about that voice of self-condemnation that tells you, “You should be better by now.”
If you’ve been feeling behind, let this conversation remind you that we can’t do it in our own strength — and ...
Have you ever missed the days after you were first saved when your faith felt fresh and your quiet time came easily? Between the noise, the laundry, and the endless needs, it can feel almost impossible to connect with God the way you used to.
But is that what He's calling you to?
In this episode, I want to help you see that worship isn’t about long, quiet mornings. It’s about a heart that turns toward God right where you are. I wan...
Okay, I’m back...again and this time, for real! I hit a little snag, but through it, God showed me something deeper about what this podcast is really meant to be.
In this quick update, I’m sharing the heart behind this slight shift and the new new name:)
Thanks for being here!
Do you ever feel like your faith, your habits, or even your daily life are just…mundane? Like you’re showing up, but it doesn’t seem to matter?

Have you ever had an area of your life that you just don’t want to face? Maybe it’s a dream that didn’t turn out the way you hoped, a prayer that went unanswered, or a wound that still hurts too much to touch. Instead of tending to it, you’ve left it alone, like a garden you’re afraid to step into because you know the weeds have taken over.
In this episode, we talk about how disappointment and unmet expectations can cause us to neg...
Do you feel the constant pressure to measure up — as a Christian woman, a mom, a wife, or just in life? The truth is, you’ll never be “enough” on your own… and that’s actually the best news.
In this episode, we talk about finding grace when you stop relying on yourself and start resting in God's sufficiency. Your worth isn’t based on performance, and God’s grace is more than enough for your every weakness.
If you’ve been carrying...
Your view of God shapes everything! How you live, how you love, and definitely how you see yourself.
If you believe He’s distant, harsh, or disappointed, you’ll live disconnected and defeated.
In this episode, we discuss how false beliefs about God silently shape your life and how seeing Him rightly brings peace and true connection.
If this episode speaks to you, share it with a friend who could use the reminder too:)
Do you ever feel like your time with God is missing something? You sit down to pray... or maybe you don’t. You know you need Him, but somehow you don’t make space to seek Him.

After over a year away, I'm back with a new name and renewed vision. In this episode, I share where I've been, why the shift, and what you can expect moving forward.
I don't doubt that, like me, you have heard these two words frequently over the past few years: Alignment and Empowerment.
They sound like good words, don't they? It even feels good to say them!
But in this episode I'd like to talk about what the world means when using these words and what is actually biblical.
It's important for us to be discerning and differentiate meanings from a biblical perspective rather than to be led astray...
Are you living in a constant state of self-condemnation? Do you find yourself beating yourself up over what you said or didn't say, what you did or didn't do? Do you feel like you can never get it right, and no matter how hard you try, you just can't feel good about yourself? Living in a place of condemnation is exhausting, and it’s not the way we’re meant to live.
There’s freedom in Christ, and He gives us grace! He is tender tow...
Wherever you are, right in this very moment, God can meet you there! We know that God is all we need, in the general sense, but do we understand that He is exactly what we need in each moment? He is the I AM. But I think we don't always realize what that means.
Today, I want to encourage you by going through many of the different names for God, so that you can truly see that He is what you need, no matter what you are going throug...
It's not only about what you do, but also the attitude with which you do it. Are you doing everything with excellence and as unto the Lord, or are you doing the bare minimum? Do you have a bad attitude about the work you do, or towards the people closest to you?
Let us keep in mind why we're here and Who we are doing all of this for. Let's move past the "bare minimum," or "Fine! I'll do it, but only because I have to" mindset and d...
Today's episode is really a heart to heart about the real difficulties of forgiving someone who has hurt you. It can be extremely hard when you've been hurt so very deeply. I've been there more times than I like to admit. Hurt, and especially when there's betrayal, can leave us vulnerable and doubting ourselves in ways that feel completely crushing. Sometimes, forgiveness seems impossible.
But God.
He makes a way. We don't have to...
