One's shadow or dark side is, in the words of Carl Jung, the unconscious, repressed aspects of personality, including both negative and positive traits, that are often seen as undesirable or unacceptable by the conscious self. In modern psychotherapy there is a process called Shadow Work, which attempts to unpack the darker aspects of our human nature in hope of finding peace and wholeness. On this episode, Jason and Jolene unpack their own dark sides in hope of normalizing a part of us few want to even acknowledge.
