(00:26):
Well, hello there, everyone.
It is John C. Morley here, Serial Entrepreneur.
It's great to be with you.
Today is Tuesday, October 7th, 2025.
And it is so great to be with
you here today.
(00:48):
And so when we think about, you know,
master topics, because that's what we have for
this week.
This week's master topic is really great.
The master topic for this week is one
that I think sometimes, oftentimes gets overlooked.
And so this topic is, again, a really
they're all great, but resilience, leadership and positive
(01:10):
change was, you know, where we were before.
But understanding the different types of, you know,
topics that we have, I think can make
a huge, a very huge difference.
But notwithstanding, this middle topic for this week
is resilience, leadership.
(01:34):
OK, resilience, leadership.
And so with resilience, leadership and positive change,
that's what we're about.
And the granular one, guys, incidentally, if you're
wondering what the granular topic is, it's another
great one, by the way.
And the granular topic for today's show is
(01:55):
this, guys.
And that is Adopting Gratitude in Celebration Series
4, show 41, episode number 4.
Yeah, guys, it is great to be with
you on the Inspirations for Your Life talk
show.
And I know that you're probably, you know,
(02:17):
wondering, like, you know, how does things work?
How do these work a certain way?
I think the important thing is to understand
that our resilience, our leadership, it comes from
what we have learned.
I think that's a very important thing to
(02:40):
understand.
And so if you're coming here for the
first time, I want to say welcome and
thank you.
If you're coming back, I want to say
welcome back and thank you so much for
being here.
Really do appreciate you deciding to make this
part of your life.
And I know a lot of you out
there are saying to me, hey, John, you
(03:01):
know, things can be crazy, right?
But we have to sometimes just pause and
reflect for the moment.
If you guys are thirsty, by the way,
feel free to go get yourself something.
I just had breakfast not too long ago.
That could be a pagel.
That could be some fruit.
That could be water.
That could be another beverage, hot or cold.
Some snacks, fruit, nuts, whatever it is.
(03:21):
And come on back to our show, Inspirations
for Your Life.
All right, guys, don't forget to check out
BelieveMeAchieve.com right after the show for more
of my, of course, amazing, inspiring creations.
Definitely go ahead and do that.
You can find my long form content, my
(03:42):
short form content and so much more, guys,
so much more.
All right, guys, without any further ado, I'd
like to go ahead and kick this show
off.
All right, everyone, are you ready?
All right.
So, again, welcome to the Inspirations for Your
Life ever popular podcast show that's now going
(04:02):
to be ending its fourth year and going
into its fifth season on September 1st.
That's just like mind boggling for me.
Hosted by myself, John C.
Morley, serial entrepreneur.
And not only that, I am an engineer.
I'm a marketing specialist, video producer, graduate student,
podcast host and a podcast coach and an
(04:25):
unstoppable force fueled by lifelong passion and learning.
If you're searching for ways to elevate your
mindset, ignite motivation and embrace the best in
work and life, you're in the right place.
(04:46):
So today, get ready to amplify your gratitude
and unlock the power of true celebration.
Because every moment of progress matters, folks.
Yes, it does.
It certainly does.
Number one, celebrate every small win.
(05:07):
You're building momentum, not just goals.
Every achievement, no matter how tiny, moves you
further on your journey.
So you might be saying, well, John, it
only moves the needle a little bit.
Yes, but it moves the needle.
And if it moves the needle, that means
you are getting closer to your aspirations and
(05:28):
your goals.
Recognize, ladies and gentlemen, that it's a stepping
stone.
And it's the sum of the small wins
that adds up to big change.
Sustaining your drive and lifting your spirit day
after day.
Now, you might be saying to me, John,
what good is something small going to do?
(05:48):
Well, that's a great question.
So what good is something small going to
do?
Let's think about interest, right?
Interest alone daily is nothing.
But when we compound it over time, it
becomes a pretty nice number, right?
Well, number two, gratitude trains your mind to
see what's working, not just what's missing.
(06:10):
Shift your focus away from dissatisfaction by acknowledging
what's good.
And when you count your blessings, you empower
yourself to grow stronger and more resilient and
more inventive with each step.
(06:32):
Number three, guys, every day you wake up
is a new reason to be thankful.
Life is a gift.
Start your mornings by embracing possibilities.
And appreciating another chance to shape your dreams
into reality.
(06:54):
Number four, guys, celebrate progress, not perfection.
Growth is victory.
Embrace the learning curve.
The lessons you gain along the way forge
your character every day.
Progress is a reflection of your commitment, not
(07:18):
just the result, right?
That's important to understand.
Number five, gratitude rewires your outlook for optimism
and success.
Positive thoughts become actions when you make gratitude
a daily habit.
(07:39):
Setbacks feel smaller and your confidence soars.
Number six, don't just move the goalposts.
Pause and save it a flavor of where
you are at the moment.
Sometimes ambition can overshadow growth.
(07:59):
Take moments to appreciate how far you've come.
Every milestone deserves recognition.
Number seven, celebrate the people who cheer you
on.
They're your secret fuel.
(08:20):
Supportive friends, family, and mentors are your catalysts
in life.
Acknowledge their encouragement.
It's an invisible foundation beneath your achievements.
Number eight, guys, a grateful perspective makes even
(08:44):
setbacks feel less heavy.
Gratitude doesn't erase challenges, but it turns them
into lessons.
You'll bounce back sooner and stronger when you
greet adversity with thankfulness.
(09:08):
Number nine, your journey is unique.
Celebrate your one-of-a-kind story.
No two life paths are the same.
Your victories and struggles shape the story that
only you can tell.
Number 10, gratitude opens doors to new connections.
(09:34):
And, of course, opportunities, guys, that's important, very
important.
People are naturally drawn to positivity.
When you express thankfulness, collaboration, and new relationships,
they arise organically.
Number 11, guys, wins, big or small, deserve
(09:58):
a moment of shine.
Take pride in every success, sharing the inspiration
so others are motivated by your example.
Number 12, guys, celebration on the recharges things
for your energy.
(10:19):
Whatever comes next, the joy of achievement renews
your enthusiasm and propels you toward future goals.
Number 13, guys, a thank you note.
Take seconds.
(10:42):
Its impact lasts for years.
Don't underestimate the power of saying thanks.
A simple gesture can strengthen bonds and spark
goodwill that echoes far beyond today.
(11:03):
Number 14, share your gratitude.
Positivity is wildly contagious.
Each time you appreciate someone, you inspire them
to spread kindness too.
(11:25):
Celebrate efforts, not just outcomes.
You're showing up.
Effort means you're investing in your growth.
Applaud your commitment.
It matters as much as results.
Number 16, daily gratitude is a magnet for
(11:49):
more good things.
The universe responds.
What you focus on multiplies.
Make appreciation your routine.
Number 17, making time to celebrate, cruise, you
respect your hard work.
(12:13):
Don't rush or push past the achievements that
you're making.
Recognize and honor your dedication to yourself.
I think a lot of times in life,
people don't really thank themselves for the victory
(12:34):
that they were able to create in their
lives.
And you might say to me, John, well,
you know, that sounds crazy, but I'm here
to tell you it's not crazy.
When we can embrace that, it's like more
things open up that we can become grateful
for.
I've said this before.
This is like a record, I know.
But I want this to be drilled in
so you guys get this.
We need to be grateful for things in
(12:55):
our life that is so vital.
And so number 18 is the more you
notice, the more you appreciate the gratitude effect.
Now, that's not something I can just tell
you.
It's something you've got experience in life.
(13:16):
And if you experience it in life, there's
a good shot that you're going to be
pretty successful.
All right.
You'll be pretty successful because your mind is
primed, kind of like a pump primed for
water, right?
Your mind is primed to keep going after
more stuff.
(13:37):
That's like pretty remarkable, if you have to
ask me.
I like to think about gratitude.
I have something called John's Alphabet of Gratitude.
It's really pretty powerful.
So you could do it very simply when
you put your ring on in the morning
or take it off at night.
Or maybe you don't have a ring.
Maybe it's just a watch.
(13:57):
You want to link it to something you
do daily, at least twice.
It could be something when you leave home
or it could be when you come home
at night.
You start the Attitude of Gratitude exercise.
And so start with the letter A.
And you move through the alphabet.
And let's say you start with A.
And you're like, okay, A.
(14:18):
Now, you don't just think about things you're
grateful for.
You feel them.
So I'm grateful for all the abundance around
me in many different ways.
And I feel it.
Think of something else.
I'm grateful for all the air around me.
So clean and pure that I can breathe
and live.
Number B.
I'm thankful and grateful for all the birds.
(14:42):
How they just chirp and they're like nature's
own private choir.
I am so thankful or happy and grateful
for anything, right?
It has to start with a B.
We get birds.
We get boats.
(15:04):
I'm so happy and grateful for the boats
around me.
Not only do they look great, but being
on them is an amazing feeling.
Letter C.
I'm so happy and grateful for my level
of calmness that's always in me no matter
what stressful situations are around.
(15:27):
I feel that.
I'm so happy and grateful that I can
do anything.
You're a can-doer.
That's another one.
Let's go to D.
I'm so happy and grateful for the ducks
(15:48):
that wallow in the water.
Sometimes they get to feed by giving them
bread.
I am so happy and grateful for the
dunes at the shore.
Not only beautiful to look at and to
watch, but I know they commemorate a very
(16:11):
important meaning.
Sometimes they protect so people don't destroy them.
Letter E.
I'm so happy and grateful for entertainment, whether
that's music, whether that's poetry, whether that's hiking,
(16:32):
whatever it is.
I'm so happy and grateful for all these
new types of entertainment.
What's another one?
I'm so happy and grateful for the level
of enthusiasm that I am blessed to share
with myself and with everyone I come in
contact with.
I am so happy and grateful.
(16:55):
F.
For the fun I get to experience each
day.
I'm so happy and grateful for the food
I'm blessed to eat each day.
Get any idea?
G.
I'm so happy and grateful for my God
(17:16):
and Lord that brought me to this earth.
Now, I know this isn't a religious show,
but you could do anything else.
If it wasn't God, you could do something
like, I'm so happy and grateful for my
garden because each time I see it, I
just get a burst of joy and energy.
Another G.
I'm so happy and grateful for the sport
(17:39):
of golf.
Each time I play, it, like, transports me
off to another world.
H.
I'm so happy and grateful for my happiness
each day.
I'm so happy and grateful for my health
(18:01):
each day.
And really feel these things.
I'm so happy and grateful with I for
my intelligence that keeps getting smarter each day.
I'm so happy and grateful for my intuition
each day.
I'm so happy and grateful for my jovialness
each day.
(18:23):
I'm so happy and grateful for my jurisdictional
ability that I can make decisions on jurisdictions.
I'm so happy.
This is K.
I'm so happy and grateful for the kindness
that I've been blessed with that I get
to share with others and others get to
share with me.
(18:45):
I'm so happy and grateful for, could be
something as simple as kickstandy bar.
I'm so happy and grateful for something really
meaningful.
For, K might be hard.
Let's see.
Kind, well, it starts with K.
(19:11):
I know that sometimes, some letters do get
you stuck, I know that.
So, you know, what starts with K?
I'm so happy and grateful for my kitchen.
I get to cook and bless others with
the wonderful food I create.
(19:34):
I'm only going to go to L.
I'm so happy and grateful for L, for
the love that I have for myself and
the love that I share with others and
the love that people share with me.
I'm so happy and grateful for the light
that I get to be in other people's
lives and the light that they get to
be in my lives.
So, I just did A through L, but
(19:55):
you can do A through C.
You see how I'm feeling them?
And look for beauty and success everywhere.
It's waiting to be seen and discovered.
Number 19, guys.
Every accomplishment is proof you're capable of much
more.
Each milestone signals new possibility, building faith in
(20:18):
your ability to transform your future.
Number 20, guys.
Gratitude strengthens resilience when challenges arise.
When trouble strikes, your bank of grateful memories
will keep you afloat.
(20:42):
Number 21, guys.
I want you to turn your struggles into
lessons worth celebrating.
Every difficulty contains growth.
Celebrate what you learn along the way in
life.
I think that's important.
Number 22, take a gratitude break, just like
(21:04):
I did right now.
Do it twice a day.
When stress hits, it can transform your entire
life and day.
Pause and list your blessings, but feel your
blessings.
Anxiety fades, and your mindset will always renew.
Number 23, celebrate everything in your life and
(21:30):
build upon the confidence, as this will prime
you for bigger and better and larger goals.
Get used to honoring achievements, and you'll fearlessly
set your sights higher.
Number 24, recognize how far you've come today
instead of how far you need to go.
(21:54):
Reflection fuels pride and renewed momentum.
Celebrate your journey.
Really important, guys.
Gratitude empowers you to lift others as you
rise to the top.
Thankful leaders inspire teams and create cultures where
(22:16):
everyone wins.
I think that's important.
When we can understand that a culture is
what makes people win, that whole concept, right?
That's a very, very important point, guys.
A very, very important point.
And the reason I say this to you
guys is that if you understand these, let's
(22:39):
say, these things that I'm kind of sharing
with you, it'll make your life a lot
easier to understand.
I know you're probably saying to me, John,
but you don't understand my life.
Every time you choose to be grateful for
something, guys, it's like a magical
(23:05):
gate opens.
A magical gate.
And that gate, guys, is something that I
feel many of you may not give gratitude
for.
You may not give gratitude for it because
(23:26):
you don't understand it.
You don't understand it.
And the more that we take time, guys,
to do these things, the more that gratitude
has a way of just, well, making us
feel pretty amazing, if you ask me.
(23:50):
If you think about your life, and you
think about the fact that your life is
pretty magical, pretty magical, then
(24:12):
you'll be like, wow, John, this is impressive.
Yeah, it is.
It's very impressive.
But it's about you taking that understanding and
doing something with it.
(24:33):
It's about you doing something with it.
Number 26, guys.
Every day offers something worth celebrating.
Find it and honor it.
Beauty is everywhere.
For those who look, let gratitude and celebration
(24:53):
be your daily rituals.
Letting go is not weakness.
I've said this before.
It is wisdom in the quest for our
growth, releasing what no longer serves you free
space for gratitude and fresh beginnings.
(25:14):
I know that a lot of you are
probably saying to me, John, this isn't easy
for me.
I know it's not easy.
Trust me.
I know it's not easy.
But I've said to you, you have to
practice getting comfortable, ladies and gentlemen, being uncomfortable.
That's what I said.
You have to practice getting comfortable being uncomfortable.
When you do that, I'm not going to
(25:34):
tell you it's easy.
I'm going to tell you it's easier.
Okay?
Easier.
That's something that I think a lot of
people, they don't understand that concept about what's
easier.
Okay?
(25:55):
What's easier is you making a choice in
life.
Okay?
But you have to practice getting comfortable being
uncomfortable.
Does that make sense to everybody?
I hope it does.
I hope so.
I think if you can embrace this, life
(26:21):
will really surprise you with some amazing miracles.
But you have to realize it's about truth.
It's about you doing this day in and
day out.
It's not just something you do once and
be like, oh, that didn't work for me.
You have to embrace this as a daily
habit, as a daily routine.
(26:45):
That's the key, guys.
Embrace it as a daily routine.
When you embrace this as a daily routine,
you know what happens?
Your life changes.
Your life changes.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm John Seymour, serial entrepreneur.
I invite you to please tune in to
(27:06):
the show daily.
If you can't, you can go to BelieveMeAchieve
.com, watch the replays, check out this show,

many other stuff that we do from long
-form content, short-form content, articles, reels, so
much, guys.
The only crime in life with learning is
(27:27):
choosing not to learn.
We should be learning every single day in
our life.
I'm John Seymour, early serial entrepreneur.
Remember to adopt gratitude every single day in
your life.
Not only will it seem like you're living
a different life, it will seem like you're
a brand-new person.
Give it a try, and you will be
(27:49):
astounded in the results.
I hope you have a great rest of
your day or rest of your evening, depending
on when you're watching.
And I'm going to catch you guys real
soon.
Live your life with gratitude.
It's never too late to start.
