Well, hey guys, it is great to be
with you here on the Inspirations for Your
Life show.
Thank you so much for joining me here
today.
It is December 31st, and again, it is
a privilege and a pleasure to be with
you here on the show.
So I take this opportunity to say welcome

(00:23):
to you.
Thank you so much for joining me.
If it's your first time here, I want
to say welcome and thank you so much
for being here.
If you're coming back, I definitely want to
say welcome back and thanks so much for
coming back.
This is Sunday.
It's December 21st, 2025, and that means that
we're on the second day of a master
topic.
We'll get to that in just a minute,
but I do want to welcome you all

(00:43):
here.
And if you're thirsty, feel free to go
grab yourself something like water or juice or
a drink or a snack or something, feel
free to do that.
And we'll kick the show off, all right,
but don't forget to check out BelieveMeAchieved.com
for more of my amazing, of course, inspiring
creations.
Ladies and gentlemen, in just less than two
weeks, we'll officially be on the air four

(01:05):
years in a row.
Wow, a big round of applause there, I
know.
And we'll be starting our fifth year, so
really excited about that.
Lots to come in 2025, including an automated
AI system to vet our guests and schedules.
So we're really excited about that.
And that's coming up probably around Q2 of
2026.
So again, welcome everyone to the show.

(01:26):
Thank you so much for being here.
It means so much to have you here
with me on the show.
And I think we'll probably just get right
into it because I've got so much to
share with you.
And I know that you're definitely going to,
how can I say, appreciate what I've got.
So let's kick this off.
So you're tuned into the ever popular, yes,

(01:46):
powerful show of Inspirations for Your Life.
It's the daily, guys, it's the daily motivational
show.
And a lot of people, when you think
about motivation, I think sometimes they just get
a little bit confused.
They're not really sure why things are working
a certain way or why they're doing something.

(02:09):
But the thing is, when we think about
motivation and we think about the fact that
what I do here, which is I help
you think, I help you become stronger, I
help you lead and help you own your
life on purpose.
By the way, this is John Seymour, serial
entrepreneur.

(02:30):
I'm an engineer, I'm a marketing specialist, I'm
a video producer, podcast host, coach, graduate student,
and yes, guys, a passionate lifelong learner.
And it is my privilege and pleasure to
be here with you as someone who has
spent years building businesses, creating content and coaching
people just like you to turn everyday moments

(02:50):
into real impact.
Are you ready?
So today we are getting into a very
important point.
And I think some of these points, sometimes
people don't necessarily get what these points stand
for, but I'm here to shed some light
on them and let you know that there

(03:12):
is so much more that you guys can
do.
I mean, I think believing is a huge,
huge thing.
That a lot of people don't get.
Belief is a big thing, right?
And a lot of people around you sometimes
feel that what they're doing is not possible.

(03:36):
Sometimes people get frustrated because of what's happening.
And I know, guys, how this can affect
people.
I know that you're on this path and
sometimes you don't get where you wanna be
because of some obstacle in the road.
But I wanna tell you that it's that
obstacle in the road that actually is gonna
help you achieve your success.

(03:58):
Yes, guys, achieving your success, that's what we're
all about.
And so when we think about success or
we think about what success, a success could
be fame, it could be money, it could
be some people, it could be power, right?
So there's a lot to this.

(04:19):
And I think just starting to understand who
you are and how you operate and what
you bring to the world, I think that's
a very important thing for a lot of
us to start realizing, starting to understand because
this is what it's about, guys.
This is all what it's about.

(04:39):
And I know sometimes we get thrown off
our rocker, right?
And so this is really, really important because
it's our belief that creates our reality.
And again, we have a powerful week here
coming up for the Inspirations for Your Show.
It's the Daily Motivational Show.
It helps you think, of course, as we
said, but it helps you become very, very

(05:02):
wise.
And I think being wise is something that
a lot of people, sometimes they miss the
boat on feeling wise, right?
I think that happens because they're basically trying
to achieve something.
And then for whatever reason, they don't achieve
it because of something somebody else says.

(05:24):
And so thinking about all of this, right,
can be a little challenging.
And so I like to encourage you to
do some very powerful things.
And they all start with one concept.
The concept, as you all, in case you
didn't know, it is belief.

(05:46):
Yeah, it is belief.
And belief is that magic sauce that can
transform us from someone that's trying to do
something to someone that has done amazing and
has succeeded so well.
But there are gonna be some pitfalls along
the way.
I mean, unfortunately, guys, that is just one

(06:09):
of the caveats of life.
And so when we think about this and
we think about what's happening and we think
about where we're going and how this can
pace, I think it's a very important thing
to definitely understand.
How do you show up in the world
for people?

(06:29):
Do you say one thing or do you
say something else?
Do you really stick to what you mean?
Or are you about something that's not really
clear?
Okay?
So I think what I wanna share with
you today is the first point, which is
to treat every interaction like it matters.

(06:52):
Okay?
Like it matters.
And that's important, guys.
Understanding things, how they matter and what they
do in our lives, I think that can
really give us, how can I say?
It can give us a kind of like

(07:15):
a launch pad of where we're at.
And so sometimes we don't necessarily get like
all the directions.
Okay?
So I wanna tell you that you're smarter
than you actually believe you are.

(07:35):
Okay?
I know you're probably saying to John, like,
you know, I don't get that, but I
wanna tell you this because I think some
people, okay, some people out there just don't
really get, they don't get the point.
And that's a very crazy thing to understand

(07:57):
is that when people don't get that point,
it's like they don't necessarily know where they
wanna go.
They don't know what they wanna do, but
all they know is that they wanna achieve
greatness in life.
Right?
They wanna achieve that greatness, but for whatever
reason, they don't achieve it.
And that can frustrate a lot of people,

(08:20):
you know, to say that this is one
thing and that I'm here, but then I'm
not achieving what I want.
It's not because you can't, guys.
It's because of a belief.
Okay?
And all of our episodes here are very
powerful.
And you know, whether we're talking about something
that is a trivial fact, whether we're talking

(08:42):
about something that has major impact, approaching things,
having new knowledge is what gives us the
ability to rise.
Guys, I'm here to bring you authentic, practical,
and heartfelt inspiration that helps you see the
light, even when, well, the world around you

(09:03):
feels a little dim.
Today, we're diving into something deeply human.
What to do when life feels heavy?
I know what happens.
And how to find small sparks that remind
you hope still exists.
So as I said, grab that favorite drink,
take a deep breath, and let's walk together

(09:26):
into the light one gentle moment at a
time.
You ready?
Number one, if this season with the holidays
is feeling, well, a bit heavy, you're not
alone.
Nothing is wrong with you.
Let's start right there, okay?
Because too often, we think heaviness means something's
broken within us.

(09:46):
But the truth is, when things feel heavy,
it's a sign that you've been carrying a
lot.
You're processing, adapting, surviving.
That isn't weakness, guys.
That's strength.
The first step to light is acknowledging that
you're human, not a machine.

(10:06):
And I think sometimes that can be hard
to grasp.
So ladies and gentlemen, please give yourself credit
for showing up.
That's one of the hardest things to do
in this world, is to keep showing up
consistently.
Number two, you don't need a good day.
You just need one gentle moment.
Forget the pressure of constant happiness.

(10:28):
Life isn't measured in perfect days.
It's measured in moments that make you breathe
easier.
Maybe it's the smell of coffee, your favorite
song, or stepping outside for a minute of
quiet.
One soft, kind moment can change the rhythm
of your entire day.

(10:48):
Number three, let's normalize answering, okay?
How are you, with something real?
We all say, I'm fine, even when we're
not.
Let's break that habit.
When someone asks how you are, try giving
an honest answer like, it's been a long
week, but I'm still going well.

(11:11):
Authentic connections start when we drop the mask
and let someone actually see us for who
we are.
Number four, you're allowed to make your own
traditions from scratch, yeah, that's right.
The season often comes wrapped in expectations, but
you're free to start your own story anytime.

(11:33):
Maybe it's movie night with friends or taking
a walk under the stars.
Traditions are about meaning, not rules.
Create yours with true intention and joy.
Number five, guys, three tiny rituals that make
dark evenings less brutal.
Light a candle, play one soft song that

(11:54):
lifts your spirit.
Write a single line in a gratitude journal.
Not a list, just one good thing.
These may seem small, but they're symbolic lights,
steady reminders that you have the power to
brighten even the darkest corners of your mind.
Number six, guys, your room lighting is messing

(12:17):
with your mood.
So fix it.
In five minutes, this might surprise you, but
lighting shapes emotions.
Harsh, cold lighting can amplify stress or sadness.
Try adding a warm tone lamp or dimmer
bulbs.
Your environment can literally shift your mindset comfort.

(12:38):
Your eyes and your heart will follow.
A while back, I had gotten one of
these professional lights for our studio.
And not only can we change the brightness,
we can actually change the warmth.
So whether it's gonna be tungsten or whether
it's daylight, and you get a completely different
feeling depending on that light setting.

(12:59):
Number seven, you can be grateful and still
tired, but can be true.
Gratitude doesn't erase exhaustion.
You can appreciate life's blessings and still feel
drained when you accept that both emotions can
exist, coexist, I should say.
You release the guilt of not being positive

(13:20):
enough.
It's okay to be grateful and human.
Number eight, if your feed makes you feel
behind, curate one soft landing account.
Social media can steal our light if we're
not careful.
Follow creators who inspire you to be calm,
not competition.
Build a feed that feels like a breath

(13:41):
of fresh air because your digital world influences
your inner one.
And I think that's one that a lot
of people don't realize.
Our digital life is shaping our real life.
Number nine, your younger self would be shocked
you made it this far, in a good
way.
Think of everything you've been through, the challenges

(14:01):
you once didn't think you'd survive.
You did.
Your younger self would be proud, amazed, and
relieved that you're still carrying forward.
Now honor that and progress by believing in
what's next.
You just started writing your journey and your
story and you could change, you can evolve.

(14:25):
Remember, you're the director of it.
Do anything you want.
Number 10, guys, you don't have to cheer
up.
You just have to show up for yourself.
You're not obligated to fake smiles or forced
joy.
Showing up, brushing your teeth, making your bed,
or simply breathing through the moment is enough.

(14:45):
Real strength is consistency, not constant cheer.
So let these ideas guide you through.
Remember, your light doesn't need to blind the
darkness.
It just needs to exist.
And I think sometimes we get so heavy.

(15:10):
I'll give you a perfect example.
So before I was getting on the plane,
just less than 24 hours ago, there was
a lot that had to get done.
I'm gonna say probably 20 things within two
days.
And that was a lot.
I got them all done.
I took a breath.
I did my very best.
And I came through.

(15:31):
Now, when I got to Florida, I was
extremely tired, not to lie about that.
And went to bed, got up in the
morning.
I think it was around 10, 10, 15.
Had breakfast.
And then after that, I took a shower
and got dressed.
And then I sat on the couch and

(15:52):
I just closed my eyes to relax for
a little bit to the music.
And before I knew it, I was actually
off to dreamland because my body needed a
break.
Being heavy is not wrong.
Being heavy allows us to sense the moment
that we're in.
A lot of people I know avoid the

(16:14):
heavy moments because they don't necessarily want to
be part of a heavy situation.
They don't want to feel a certain way.
But I'm here to tell you that our
feeling is what life is about.
We're here to create moments, to enjoy them,
to be challenged.

(16:35):
We're here in this universe to be able
to take those heavy moments and to soften
them.
Soften them with ways of being kind and
compassionate to ourselves.
That could be little things from rewarding ourselves

(16:55):
with a longer shower, a bath, going to
see a movie.
These are the things that can help us
go from point A to point B or
point Z.
Think of it like a railroad track.
You start at one end and you get

(17:16):
to the other.
Now, this reminds me of a great story
of the book.
You might know the book.
It was called, it was The Little Engine
That Could.
You remember that book?
Yes, The Little Engine That Could.
And it was entitled, I Think I Can.
And this was a quite a remarkable book,
child's tale.

(17:38):
And so The Little Engine That Could is
a classic children's story.
It first was published in 1930 by Platt
and Monk featuring a determined little blue engine
with the famous mantra, I think I can,
I think I can.
And as she pulls a train of toys
and food over a mountain for children in
need, teaching lessons about optimism and perseverance.

(17:58):
It's available in many editions, including the original
anniversary edition and versions with different illustrations by
Waddy Piper, a pen name for Arnold Monk.
And so the first time I think I
saw this was many years ago, it was
actually on channel 13.
And the core message of the book, the

(18:20):
story is determination, positive thinking and helping others.
The famous quote is, I think I can,
I think I can, I think I can.
The plot is a train full of toys
breaks down and the other larger engines refuse
to help.
But a small engine agrees to try repeating
her mantra as she slowly pulls it over

(18:42):
the mountain.
The legacy and enduring symbol of achieving goals
through a growth mindset and perseverance.
I think when we hear stories like this,
it inspires us to, I'm gonna say dig
deeper to maybe come up with another way

(19:05):
to live, right?
Maybe that's what it's about, maybe.
Maybe it's about where we are in life.
Maybe it's about how life is treating us
or where life is sending us.
Is it up a mountain?
Is it around a mountain?

(19:28):
Is it down a mountain?
I think when we feel heavy, many people
I've known, friends of mine, younger and older,
they walk away from these challenges because they
figure, oh, you know what?
I'm either too young or I'm too old
or I'm too this or I'm too that.
And I don't have, or I don't have
time for challenges.

(19:50):
Well, see, it's the challenge that sets us
up to become better versions of ourselves.
It's not something we just do overnight.
We're not gonna master this skill.
Whether we're thinking about the I think I

(20:13):
can engine, another one that kind of comes
to mind is a very, an interesting one,
the plot of Starlight Express.
So Starlight Express is about Rusty, a young
obsolete steam engine who dreams of winning the
world championship railroad race to impress the beautiful

(20:36):
observation car Pearl against modern diesel and electric
engines.
Finding self-belief through the legendary mystical Starlight
Express, a Santa Claus figure for trains to
overcome his self-doubt and prove heart and
faith matter more than any technology.

(20:57):
All performed on roller skates as a child's
toy trains come to life.
So this play is, let's say, interesting to
me.
But not only that, it has a very
special place in my heart because this play

(21:19):
was the one that I got to take
friends of mine from my class in high
school to go see.
My parents had rented limos to go to
New York and then we went for lunch.
And this whole thing, when you can go
to a movie or you can go to
a play and you can come out with

(21:40):
a feeling, feelings are what cause us to
make the changes that we can in our
lives.
Words can do some things, but it's the
feeling that causes us to change the direction,
to change our course.

(22:02):
Feelings create manifestation.
They create manifestation.
And if we understand how it creates manifestation,
then maybe we can be a little bit
more, how can I say, a little more
observant.

(22:24):
Doesn't have to be a train.
Doesn't have to be a Starlight Express.
You carry your own heavy moments.
Maybe these are in relationships.
Maybe they're with family.
Maybe they're with yourself.
You're trying to achieve goals.

(22:48):
That could be health-related, fitness-related, educational
-related, financially-related.
And I think when we can get into
ourselves and feel something like this, it changes
the who we are.

(23:09):
And I've said to you, the who we
are becomes important.
When we identify with our core values.
See, those are the ones that make us
do or not do something.
You might've heard somebody say, you know, I
got a feeling.
It's the feelings that we get that make

(23:32):
us go the extra mile.
I'll give you another story.
Runners, like New York Marathon and other hikes
and runs, sometimes it's just that extra push.
And sometimes that comes from a total stranger.

(23:54):
Sometimes it comes from a friend or a
family member.
Like, you've got this, you've got this.
Yeah, yeah.
Those are important things, guys.
But just because something's heavy doesn't mean you
should blow it away.
Doesn't mean you shouldn't explore it.
Yes, it might be challenging and a little

(24:15):
painful, but there might be some great rewards
on the other side of that.
Rewards that could potentially reshape your future.
Rewards that could elevate you by installing new
skills so you don't run into this heaviness
in the future.

(24:35):
Maybe skills that actually can change who you
are.
Maybe skills that can change who you are
to help others change who they wanna be.
You see, as I said to you in
the blind of the darkness, it just needs

(24:57):
to exist, okay?
Because every single flicker of your life, every
heartbeat, every breath you take, guess what, guys?
They matter.
They matter.
Every sound you make, every breath you take,

(25:20):
every step you take.
Remember the song, I'll Be Watching You?
You should be watching you.
You should be observing you, you should be
celebrating you.
And when the time gets heavy, be aware
of why you're feeling heavy.

(25:42):
And chances are, you may not feel heavy
that much longer.
It's the uncomfortability of something new that will
often trip us up.
This is why many people will avoid new
things because they don't want new.

(26:04):
They want comfort, they want convenient.
But I said to you guys before, comfort
and convenient does not lie for the same
plane that success lives in.
There has to be some discomfort.
There has to be some growth.
I didn't say pain, I said growth.

(26:26):
I said discomfort, right?
Think about that for a moment.
Think about maybe the last time maybe you
felt heavy.
Was it doing a chore?
Was it maybe reading something for someone?
Was it giving a presentation in school or

(26:48):
at work?
Was the heaviness coming maybe because of something
you did?
Maybe something that wasn't in alignment with your
integrity.
These are the kinds of reasons we feel
heavy sometimes.
It's the universe's way of saying, hey, look,
I want you to notice this.

(27:08):
I want you to not do this in
the future.
So we get a heavy heart.
Heaviness can also bring us sadness.
Heaviness is a state we go through, but
it's not a state we live in, okay?
There's ups and there's downs.
We don't stay heavy forever.

(27:30):
We get in heavy and we get out
of heavy.
But while we're in the state of being
heavy, we have to at least acknowledge how
we're feeling, how our body is responding.
Those are key.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you enjoyed today's message

(27:50):
and it resonated with you, please share it
with someone who you know might need a
little light in their life right now because
that's the key.
For more inspiring content, of course, visit me
at BelieveMeAchieved.com.
I will catch you real soon.
Remember, don't fret the next time you're heavy.
Go through it and enjoy the process so

(28:11):
you can learn from it.
