Welcome to the Inspirations for your Life Podcast! I’m John C. Morley, proud serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer, coach, graduate student, and your host on this journey of unstoppable growth. My passion for learning knows no bounds—I’m dedicated to driving innovation, sharing insights, and helping you unlock legendary success every single day. Whether you’re tuning in for expert advice, motivation, or the blueprint for peak living, get ready to ignite your potential and transform your world.

Today’s focus is all about Personal Power: Building Unbreakable Confidence. Here are the principles that turn ordinary days into legendary momentum:

[1️⃣] Confidence grows when you show up consistently. Each time you commit and follow through—however small—you prove to yourself that reliability is your superpower. Daily presence in your work and life builds a foundation of self-trust, making each appearance a block in your confidence fortress. Over time, it’s not about grand gestures—it’s about showing up and letting consistency do the heavy lifting for you.

[2️⃣] Speak as if you already own the room. Your words and voice carry authority when you believe you belong. Adopting a stance of certainty, even before you feel it, transforms how others perceive and respond to you. Practice speaking with intention and authenticity; the more you do, the more you’ll realize that leadership is a mindset shared through your tone.

[3️⃣] Small daily wins build unstoppable momentum. Celebrate the little victories—completing a task, reaching out to a mentor, learning something new. These micro-successes compound over time and fuel the motivation engine. Momentum doesn’t come from waiting for a big breakthrough but from acknowledging progress along the way.

[4️⃣] Check your self-talk—flip “I can't” to “I will.” The stories you tell yourself matter. By consciously editing your mental script, exchanging doubt for determination, you empower every action. “I will” unlocks possibility, fuels effort, and sets the stage for achievement in any area of your life.

[5️⃣] Dress like someone you respect. How you present yourself to the world sends powerful signals—both internally and externally. Dressing well not only demonstrates self-regard but also primes your mind for confidence and professionalism. The right attire isn’t just about style—it’s about setting your mood and mindset for success.

[6️⃣] Embrace imperfection—it’s proof you’re trying. Mistakes and stumbles are evidence of growth. Instead of hiding flaws, learn from them and show your humanity. When you allow imperfection, you open doors for creativity and evolution, making progress far more attainable than perfection ever could.

[7️⃣] Celebrate every step forward, no matter how tiny. Recognition, even for the smallest advances, builds a culture of encouragement and positivity. By celebrating incremental gains, you keep the motivation flowing, inspire others, and reinforce the behaviors that lead to bigger achievements.

[8️⃣] Anchor confidence in facts, not feelings. Feelings come and go, but evidence of your strengths and progress is concrete. List the things you’ve accomplished and use them to anchor your belief in yourself, especially on days when confidence feels distant.

[9️⃣] Visualize success like it’s already yours. Before you achieve it, imagine it vividly. Visualization primes your brain to recognize opportunities and solutions aligned with your goals. This forward-focused mindset transforms aspirations into tangible realities.

[🔟] Take risks nobody else will. True confidence means stepping into the unknown. When you take bold action where others hesitate, you distinguish yourself and generate new pathways for growth and recognition.

[1️⃣1️⃣] Your comfort zone is a confidence prison. Progress requires discomfort. Stepping beyond what’s familiar challenges you, but it also accelerates learning and boosts self-assurance every time you succeed despite the nerves.

[1️⃣2️⃣] Prepare relentlessly, then trust yourself. Confidence comes from preparation. Doing your homework, practicing, and crafting solid plans allow you to act with certainty. Preparation is the fuel—trust is the spark—together, they launch you toward excellence.

[1️⃣3️⃣] Learn to say no without guilt. Boundaries are vital for authentic confidence. Saying no to what doesn’t align with your values makes space for meaningful pursuits and strengthens your sense of self-respect.

[1️⃣4️⃣] Mistakes are success disguised—own them. Every error holds a lesson. Owning and analyzing mistakes leads to better outcomes and demonstrates resilience to yourself and others.

[1️⃣5️⃣] Power comes from owning your story. Embrace your unique journey—its ups and downs. Your experiences make you relatable, trustworthy, and strong. Owning your story is the source of your influence.

less.

Yes, we are.
The master topic is unleash legendary you, your
everyday habits.
But the real ...
We actually made a little bit ...
I made it actually a little bit shorter
because that's a little bit longer, so I
made the granular topic shorter.
Everyday wisdom on doing what's right.

(01:49):
Everyday wisdom on doing what's right.
That's something that ...
It's pretty amazing.
All right.
Let me get into the granular topic.
Let me tell you what that is.
The granular topic for today, for Saturday, November
1st, that is ...

(02:10):
Are you ready for the granular topic?

you can make reality actually happen.
Welcome to the Inspirations for Your Life podcast.
I'm John Seymourly, proud serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing
specialist, and of course you guys know me
as well as a video producer, coach, graduate

(03:37):
student, and yes, your host on this journey
of unstoppable growth, and yes, my passion for
learning knows no bounds.
I'm dedicated to driving innovation, sharing insights, and
helping you unlock legendary success every single day
of your life.

(03:57):
Whether you're tuning in for, I don't know,
expert advice, motivation, or the blueprint for peak
living, let's get ready to ignite your potential
and transform your world.
That's today's focus because we're all about personal
power, building unbreakable confidence.

(04:18):
Yeah, that's a powerful set of words.
Here are the principles that turn ordinary days
in your life into legendary momentum.
Number one, confidence grows when you show up.
Yes, a big part of life is showing
up, and mind you, showing up on time.
I learned this from a limo driver that

(04:41):
picked me up with my family when I
probably was only in about maybe, I don't
know, fifth or sixth grade, and we were
going away somewhere.
I think we were going to Bermuda, and
he was there like 45 minutes early.
He was supposed to be there at like
seven, and no doubt, he wasn't there at
seven.
He was there at like 5.45. I

(05:03):
was like, wow.
He's like, John, in my world, when you're
on time, you're late.
Just remember that, ladies and gentlemen.
When you're on time, you're late, so always
be early.
Number two, each time you commit and follow
through, however small, you prove to yourself that
reliability is your superpower.
Daily presence in your work and life builds

(05:26):
a foundation of self-trust, making each appearance
a block in your confidence, like your big
fortress.
Over time, it's not about the grand gestures
that you put forth.
It's about showing up and letting consistency do
the heavy lifting for you.
A lot of people don't show up.

(05:47):
Are they lazy?
Are they not motivated to show up?
I don't know.
There's a lot of reasons why people don't
show up.
Maybe they're tired.
Maybe they're not getting the right amount of
sleep.
Who knows?
But I'm here to tell you that if
you want to be successful in your life,
you need to show up, and you need
to show up early, not on time.
You need to be early, because if you're

(06:07):
on time, you're late.
Number two, speak as if you already own
the room.
Your words and voice carry authority.
When you believe you belong, you do.
Adopting a stance of certainty, even before you
feel it, transforms how others perceive and respond

(06:29):
to you.
Practice speaking with intention and authenticity.
The more you do, well, the more you
realize that leadership is a mindset shared through
your tone.
Yes, it's a mindset shared through your tone.

(06:54):
That really makes me think.
It makes me think about all the amazing
things in our life and how we can
change our lives by just, well, being aware
of something different.
We've talked about awareness before.
I won't get into that today.
Number three, small daily wins build unstoppable momentum.

(07:16):
Yes, it does.
Celebrate the little victories in your life, completing
a task, reaching out to a mentor, learning
something new.
These micro successes compound over time and fuel
the motivation loop, I'm going to call it,
or engine.
The momentum doesn't come from waiting for a
big breakthrough.
No, it doesn't, but from acknowledging progress along

(07:39):
the way.
Because you see, when you acknowledge progress, it's
like more progress shows up in your life.
Are you ready for point number four?
I know I am.
Number four is check yourself.
Talk, flip, I can't to, I will.
The stories you tell yourself matter by consciously

(08:01):
editing your mental script, exchanging doubt for determination.
You empower every action, okay?
I will unlocks possibility and it fuels effort
and sets the stage for achievement in any
area of your life.

(08:21):
And I think that's very important to realize.
Number five, guys, dress like someone you respect.
How you present yourself to the world sends
powerful signals, both internally and externally.
Dressing well not only demonstrates self-regard, but

(08:41):
also primes your mind for confidence and professionalism,
right?
The right attire isn't just about style, guys,
it's about setting your mood and mindset for
true success.
Now, I know you might be saying to
me, John, well, I'm already successful.
Okay, so you're successful right now, but wouldn't

(09:02):
you want to be more successful?
Your appearance will make the difference.
I don't care whether you're dressing in dressy
jeans or with a blazer or you're dressing
with slacks, you've got to have a nice
neat appearance, okay?
And even dressy jeans without holes and no

(09:23):
sneakers is considered dress in some environments.
Some, not all.
Number six, guys, embrace imperfection.
It's proof you're trying.
Mistakes and stumbles are evidence of growth.
Instead of hiding flaws, learn from them and
show your humanity.

(09:44):
When you allow imperfection, you open doors for
creativity and evolution, making progress far more attainable
than perfection ever could be.
Number seven, celebrate every step forward.
No matter how tiny it is, acknowledge it.
Recognize even the smallest advances because they build

(10:06):
a culture of a place where encouragement and
positivity reign.
By celebrating incremental gains, you keep the motivation
flowing, inspire others and reinforce the behaviors that
lead to bigger achievements.
Number eight, anchor confidence in facts, not feelings.

(10:30):
Feelings come and go, but evidence of your
strengths and progress is concrete.
List the things you've accomplished and use them
to anchor your belief in yourself, especially on
days when confidence feels distant.

(10:50):
Number nine, guys, visualize success like it's already
yours, as it's already part of your life.
Before you achieve it, imagine it vividly.
See it, hear it, feel it, live it
in your imagination.
Visualization primes your brain to recognize opportunities and

(11:11):
solutions aligned with your goals in mind.
It basically gets your brain rewired.
This forward-thinking mentality, focused mindset, transforms aspirations
into tangible realities.
You know, another important thing is to take
risks.
Nobody else will.
True confidence means stepping into the unknown.

(11:36):
When you take bold action where others hesitate,
you distinguish yourself and generate new pathways for
growth and recognition.
Your comfort, number 11, zone, is a confidence
prison.
Progress requires discomfort.

(11:56):
Yes, it does.
Stepping beyond what's familiar challenges you, but it
also accelerates learning and boosts self-assurance.
Every time you succeed, despite the nerves, that
hopefully will give you some, let's say, success
feelings.
Number 12, prepare relentlessly, then trust yourself.

(12:18):
You got this.
You studied.
You're going to ace the test.
Doing your homework, practicing and crafting solid plans
allow you to act with certainty.
What do I do every day being in
college as a grad student?
I spend 18 hours a week studying, and
I'm proud to be doing that.

(12:39):
I love learning.
Some people want to figure out how they
can cut corners and just get a good
grade.
Not me.
I want to own the material.
I'm not looking to cheat myself.
Preparation is the fuel.
Trust is the spark.
Together, they launch you toward excellence.

(13:03):
I love that word, excellence, opulence, excellence, beauty.
Fortune, reality, success.
Do you just love the ring of those
words?
I know I do.
Learn to say no without guilt.
Boundaries are vital for authentic confidence.

(13:24):
They are.
Saying no to what doesn't align with your
values makes space for meaningful pursuits and strengthens
your sense of self-respect.
Number 14, guys.
Mistakes are success disguised.
Own them.
Learn from them.
Every error holds a lesson.

(13:45):
Owning and analyzing mistakes leads to better outcomes
and demonstrates resilience to yourself and others.
I think it's important when we can become
aware of certain situations, we're able to embrace
what they stand for.
We're able to detect something.

(14:07):
Have you ever been told to sit in
a chair or imagine sitting in a chair
as if you were a tiger?
And listen like you were a tiger for
even that subtle pin drop.
As a tiger, you hear everything.

(14:29):
So be a tiger and you won't miss
anything that's being said.
That's powerful.
Number 15, power comes from owning your story.
So you better own it now.
Embrace your unique story today.
It's ups and it's downs.
Your experiences make you relatable, trustworthy, and strong.

(14:49):
Owning your story is the source of your
influence.
Own your story today.
Number 16, confidence attracts opportunity like a magnet.
People and possibilities always gravitate towards self-assured
individuals.

(15:10):
When you got somebody who is successful, it's
great to hang around that person.
That's going to rub off onto you, their
traits, their attitudes, their behaviors.
Let your authentic confidence shine and watch new
doors mysteriously open before you.

(15:30):
Like never imagined in your life.
That's powerful, guys.
Like you've never imagined before in your life.
So does it mean that if I imagine
I'll be a millionaire?
Well, let me explain that.
Imagining will get the feeling going and will

(15:51):
get your awareness able to sense these multimillion
dollar opportunities.
It's still up to you to pick up
the pen, to get in your car, to
pick up the phone, to open your mouth,
to make a contract, to go after what

(16:13):
it is you want.
Once you've been, let's say, shown the potential
opportunity.
Number 17, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,
stop at all costs.
Seeking approval.
Validate yourself first.
Who is anybody else?
You don't need their approval.

(16:34):
You need your approval.
When you start believing that way, you're going
to be successful.
Other people are going to want your approval.
When you chase validation from others, you weaken
your personal power.
Self-approval forms the backbone of legendary confidence.
And I think that's hard for a lot

(16:54):
of people to understand, is that confidence has
this really powerful air about itself that allows
you to transport from one dimension to another.
Basically, meaning that you could be in one
reality or another reality just because of the

(17:14):
way your confidence plays out.
Number 18, do what scares you first.
Tackling challenges outside your comfort zone builds mastery
and amplifies courage.
I remember when it was COVID time.
And I remember I wasn't a big fan
of going for blood tests and all that.
And I remember being a first responder and

(17:37):
then doing these different things to test things.
And I was a little bit nervous about
it.
But I did it.
And I was still scared.
And when they did it, I was wondering.
I felt a little thing.
I was like, OK, when are you going
to do it?
Like, I already did it.
And then I remember going for the booster
shot the first time.
And the first time I did it, it

(17:58):
was like, OK, it was, let's say, not
the most pleasant feeling.
Because I felt like somebody ran over my
arm with a truck.
That's the way to explain it.
And I was OK.
The second time, I was more prepared.
And I got somebody who was more professional
and knew what they were doing.

(18:19):
And I complained because I shouldn't have felt
that much discomfort.
The discomfort I should have felt was like
a little pinprick, right?
The more you do, that is, the easier
it becomes.
And the stronger your confidence will grow within

(18:40):
you.
Number 19, guys, compare only to past self.
Don't compare to others.
Don't compare your journey to other people's journeys.
You're at different places in life.
Your journey is your benchmark.
Don't measure against others.

(19:02):
Many people do.
Track your own progress and let growth be
your guide.
Number 20, guys, silence your inner critic with
action.
Don't let negativity or doubt paralyze you.
Every bold step forward quiets the voice telling
you, you can't do that.
Just change it to, I can.

(19:23):
Number 21, stand tall.
Your body influences your mind.
Posture impacts psychology.
Stand tall, move with intent, and your mental
state will follow your physical cues.
Number 22, inspired people inspire confidence in others.

(19:46):
Confidence is magnetic.
Surround yourself with passionate, driven, purposeful individuals to
amplify your own momentum.
Number 23, don't just wait for confidence.
Create it.
Confidence isn't handed to you.
It's earned through action.
People will say, you know, I got to

(20:07):
wait till my ship comes in.
No, you don't.
Go swim out to your ship.
I got to wait till the iron is
hot.
No, keep striking the iron.
It will get hot.
Build it one decision at a time.
That's powerful, guys.
Confidence is a muscle.

(20:29):
Exercise it daily, just like physical fitness.
Practicing confidence every day, no matter how small,
builds extraordinary strength over time.
Number 25, know your worth and set boundaries
accordingly.
Value yourself and protect your energy.
Setting boundaries is critical for self-respect.

(20:51):
And long-term success.
Number 26, guys, speak your truth with clarity
and, of course, with kindness.
Honesty builds integrity and attracts genuine connections.
Say what you mean, but do so with
empathy.

(21:13):
Number 27, find mentors who fuel your confidence.
Don't be so quick to pick the first
person you set your eyes on or hear
about.
Learning from the best boosts your skills and
self-assurance.
Seek out mentors who challenge and encourage your

(21:35):
growth forward.
Number 28, own your wins publicly to build
momentum.
Sharing achievements inspires, not just you, but your
community.
Recognition perpetuates motivation.

(21:57):
Number 29, failure doesn't define you.
Your comeback does.
Resilience shapes your identity, folks.
Learn from setbacks and use each one as
a launchpad for greatness.
Yeah, for greatness.
A launchpad for greatness.

(22:17):
That means your mistakes can be, well, remolded
into something else.
How many times have you made something?
Maybe some of you are either artists or
maybe you're a chef in the kitchen and
maybe your paint didn't go the right way
or your, let's say, meal didn't go the
right way.
Do you throw the whole pot out?
No, you figure out how you can retool

(22:39):
it or re-recipe it so that it'll
taste better or re-artistry your painting and
suddenly you've got new life into it.
Competence, guys, number 30, is contagious.
Spread it generously.

(23:00):
Your energy shapes your environment.
Model your competence to those around you and
watch how it grows every day, everywhere.
Connect and listen more, guys.
You know, I think many people want to
be better and I do invite you, of

(23:21):
course, to connect and listen more with me,
John C.
Morley, serial entrepreneur.
Of course, you can visit BelieveMeAchieved.com for
more of my short-form content, long-form
content, to re-watch this episode, other episodes,
my tech show, articles, and so much more.
You know, guys, I started Inspirations for Your

(23:43):
Life, well, it'll almost be about four years
ago, January 1st, almost around there, because I
believed I have a story to share and
my story has the capability and potential to
get people out of their, let's say, out

(24:06):
of their shell, to get people to realize
that there is so much more to life
than what they see right in front of
them.
See, we've been programmed to believe that all
we see and all we have is all
we're ever gonna have, but it's not true.
Your mind is looking at one screen, but

(24:30):
it can look at infinite screens, right?
You can switch to another screen, another reality,
and just thinking about something already will start
propelling you toward it, but you have to
do that every day.
My podcast is on every single day, guys.
Of course, you can view it at BelieveMeAchieved
.com, like I told you, and each day,

(24:53):
you can tune in for more practical strategies
to build confidence, to elevate your mindset, and
to lead by example.
My goal, ladies and gentlemen, is to elevate
your life with some first-class podcast wisdom.
I'm very grateful to many of the people

(25:13):
out there that recommend my episode to, different
episodes to their audiences.
If they think enough about my content, my
content is about truth, it's about integrity, it's
about making a change in your life, it's
about empowering leadership success.

(25:35):
And I said this, guys, before, leadership is
not inborn in you.
Leaders are made through many hours of trial
and tribulation.
And I think if we can understand those
things, and we understand that our inspirational stories

(25:55):
that we hear from others, that we tell
ourselves, that's what's gonna create the magic, guys.
That's what's gonna make us go from A
to Z, or A to J, or whatever.
I think a lot of times we get
taken back because of, oh, that happened to

(26:17):
me.
Okay, it happened to me.
Let's deal with it, and let's move on.
I was just talking to somebody the other
day, and I said to the person, with
all due respect, I said, I only have
room for positive people in my life.
And they were stunned by that.
I said, I'm not gonna hang around friends

(26:39):
or people that are not positive.
So what do I do if I have
a client that's negative?
Well, I try to help that client become
positive, okay?
But I'm talking about people that I choose
to have in my owner circle, that I
wanna be around, that basically I'm looking to
get energy from.
And people that are positive actually fuel my

(27:01):
energy, right?
It's great fuel.
I don't wanna put unleaded fuel in my
body.
I wanna put the high team, the high
test, right?
Well, guys, I hope you enjoyed this.
I hope you are having an amazing first
November, first Saturday here of 2025.
And I hope that you realize that personal

(27:23):
power is something that can be infinite if
you just believe you can create that.
And it all starts, ladies and gentlemen, with
one thought.
One thought.
Remember, our thoughts create our reality.
Wherever our thoughts go, that's where the energy's

(27:46):
gonna flow.
All right, have yourself a great one, everyone.
And I'll catch you guys in another show
or another episode or another piece of content
real soon.
Be well, everyone.
