(00:26):
Hey guys, it's John C.
Morley here, serial entrepreneur.
It's great to be with you on Inspirations
for Your Life.
Today is Sunday, and it's September 14th, 2025,
and that means we're on day two.
By the way, we kicked off an amazing
master topic just yesterday.
If you weren't with us, well, you can
definitely check that out later on by visiting
(00:47):
BelieveMeAchieve.com for not only this inspiration, but
many more inspirations, both short-form content as
well as long-form content, guys.
And I think that's an important thing to
understand, is that we start with a new
topic every Saturday and we roll through the
(01:09):
week and we end on a Friday.
Yes, so that's how we work.
Day one starts on a Saturday, and again,
small changes, big impact, right?
By the way, tonight's show is Simplicity Brings
Peace, series four, show 38, episode number two.
(01:30):
All right, so if you are here for
the first time, well, I want to say
welcome to you.
If you're coming back, I definitely want to
say welcome back.
It is great to be with you here
on Inspirations for Your Life.
If you're thirsty, feel free to go grab
yourself something like I got some delicious RO
water here.
It's filtered seven times.
Maybe you want to get a piece of
(01:51):
candy.
Maybe you want to get a piece of
fruit, a snack, cookie, I don't know, maybe
some soup or something else.
Maybe some nuts, healthy or not, tart or
sweet, that's totally up to you.
And come on back to the show.
All right, guys, without any further ado, let's
kick this show off, all right, everyone?
I know you're waiting for it as much
as I am.
(02:12):
So welcome to Inspirations for Your Life, your
home for proven strategies to live with more
purpose, peace and fulfillment.
Who am I?
I'm John C.
Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
podcast host, and of course, a podcast coach
(02:34):
and a passionate lifelong learner.
Every episode, we uncover mindsets and methods to
help you clear the clutter, invite clarity and
transform every aspect of your world for the
better.
You know, the first thing I want to
talk about is clear space.
(02:55):
So calm mind is important.
When you remove physical clutter, your thoughts become
lighter and more manageable.
A tidy space nurtures clarity and, of course,
creativity, making room for inner peace.
(03:15):
Are you ready for number two?
I know you are.
Number two is less mess, less stress.
Let me say that again.
Less mess, less stress, less mess, less stress.
Simplicity and organization relieve anxiety, keep you focused
and help you stay present in every single
moment.
(03:39):
Number three, guys, simplicity equals happiness.
True happiness comes not from having more, but
by focusing on what matters most and letting
go of distractions.
Number four, guys, fewer things, more joy.
(03:59):
Every unnecessary possession drains energy.
Keeping only what lifts you up makes every
day brighter and, of course, a lot more
meaningful.
Number five, clutter gone, clarity on, clutter gone,
clarity on, clutter gone, clarity on, kind of
(04:19):
rhymes, right?
As the clutter fades away, you gain vision
for your goals and ambitions.
Focus becomes sharp and dreams find space to
grow.
Number six, simple home, peaceful soul, simple home,
peaceful soul.
(04:39):
Your environment mirrors your mind.
Simple, organized spaces help nurture an inner sense
of tranquility and balance.
Number seven, guys, one focus, a full, true
heart, one focus, a full, true heart.
(05:05):
Multitasking splits every energy that you have, unfortunately.
Focus deeply on what matters and experience richness,
fulfillment, and real satisfaction.
I think that's important.
I think a lot of people look for
the superfluous things.
(05:25):
They don't look at right what's in their
immediate environment.
And I think if we work on what's
in our immediate environment, then we can truly
make an impact on our lives and many
of those that we touch every day.
Number eight, guys, you're ready for number eight.
I know you are.
So number eight is more space, fewer worries,
(05:47):
clearing out the unnecessary frees you from daily
anxieties and allows more time for joy, connection,
and growth.
I think everybody wants more joy, don't they?
Sure they do.
They all want more joy.
And I think when we can understand what
joy is, what it's about, I think that
(06:11):
makes a huge difference for everyone, a real
huge difference.
But the thing is, this doesn't happen overnight.
It takes time.
Number nine, calmness starts with clean.
(06:32):
Calmness starts with being clean.
So physical cleanliness creates the foundation for emotional
calmness and helps refresh your perspective almost instantly.
That's right.
Instantly, you can refresh your perspective.
A good way to get a reset on
(06:53):
your life is to just meditate, is to
focus on the moment, is to focus on
your breath.
Now, if you're driving, don't do this.
Focus on your heartbeat.
Right?
Focus on the sounds around you.
Focus on the internal sounds in your body.
Could be a heartbeat, right?
(07:16):
Focus on those because, you see, our inner
sounds have a way of grounding us now
that the outer sounds don't.
But hearing a bird chirp versus hearing the
steady beat of our heart has a difference
in resonance.
(07:36):
I think a lot of people out there
believe they're connected or they're tuned in, but
what you find out is that they're not.
And the reason they're not is because they're
jumping to the next hurdle, but they haven't
even gone over the first one.
So how can you jump to the next
(07:57):
one?
See, that's the thing that gets me, I
guess, a little bit crazy, right?
That people can do that over and over
again.
When we can focus on the who we
are inside us, when we can focus on
our core mission, when we can focus on
something, I said the other day, what gets
(08:18):
you out of bed every morning?
People have asked me that, John, what gets
you out of bed every morning?
I love being a serial entrepreneur.
I love making difference in my life and
making difference in other people's lives and being
a deliberate, passionate creator, because that's what I
am.
I'm a manifester and I'm a deliberate, passionate
creator.
(08:38):
And every single day I get better at
it.
And I think these are the things that
we as humans thrive on.
The fact that a connection, the fact that
even though we seem separate, we're not, we
are all interconnected.
I'm not going to get into that too
much tonight, but we are all interconnected in
(09:00):
the world of consciousness.
We are all resonating on a frequency.
And I'll get to this on another show,
but when you turn on a radio station,
right, the radio station is always playing something.
(09:21):
And there might be other radio stations playing
something else.
When you tune to a certain radio station,
you're always going to hear what's playing.
If you tune to a certain frequency in
your life, you're always going to get what's
on that station.
Could be abundance, could be health, could be
great relationships.
(09:41):
There's frequency, there's abundance for things.
And I think when we can realize that
everything we ever want or ever wanted is
actually on a frequency and it's already out
there, we just have to make the choice
to tune into it.
How?
By setting a deliberate intention, being grateful for
(10:04):
who we are and what we have in
our lives.
I think sometimes in our life we get
sidetracked because of, could be competition, could be
friends.
I say friends, but it may not necessarily
be friends.
It might be something else.
Could be people playing as friends, but really
(10:27):
they're not friends.
I think that's a very important thing is
we have to understand our game plan.
You know, something as simple as talking about
that tragedy that happened the other day at
the university.
Do you know who your team is and
(10:48):
do you know who's on your team and
are you sure that they're really on your
team?
There were people that were actually not on
his team.
They were literally right in the foxhole with
him and everybody thought they were all together,
but they weren't.
(11:10):
They were all there, but there were some
people that were against him.
And I think that's a hard thing when
you are breaking bread with people, I'm using
that as an analogy, and you trust somebody.
And then they backstab you, right?
It could be something as simple as them
(11:31):
just lying to your face.
I think when we take the time to
build a good team and we know who's
on our team and we test that, we've
got a good team.
(11:51):
But if we think we've got a good
team just because it looks good on paper
or because we've done a few good things
together, that doesn't mean we have a great
team.
It just means we execute a project well
or we execute a couple projects well.
That doesn't mean that we are an aligned
team.
That's an important thing for people to understand.
(12:13):
Number 10, guys.
Declutter.
Sparkle inside yourself.
Letting go of the unused items brings energy
and optimism, helping your creativity shine.
(12:35):
And I think this is something a lot
of people don't realize is that when we
resonate on the right frequency, we're like paying
attention to things.
I said before from Nightingale Covenant, we become
what we think about most often.
When we focus on something, our brain, our
(12:59):
subconscious is processing opportunities to find that.
See, our subconscious wants to prove us right.
And I think too many people are using
their life the wrong way.
They're focusing on more of what they don't
(13:20):
want.
And then when it shows up in their
life, they're like, I didn't want that.
It's because you focused on it.
So we got to be really careful what
we focus on and what we say we
want.
And when we say we can't do something,
we got to be very careful about that.
Because the words we put in our vocabulary,
(13:42):
the words that we enunciate out of our
mouth, those words are very powerful.
The words we say in our mind are
also powerful.
So we've got to guard our language.
We've got to guard our personal self-talk
that we say to ourselves, whether that's out
(14:03):
loud or whether it's in person.
And even if we get talk from other
people and that talk is not positive, we
don't have to get nasty to the person.
We can just say, cancel, cancel, and say,
you know, I know this person thinks this
way.
That is not true.
You don't have to make a whole thing
and prove they're wrong.
But you know those people are not on
your team.
You know that, guys.
(14:23):
Number 11.
You're ready for number 11?
I know you are.
Simple life, deep breath.
A simplified life lets you breathe easier, reflect
more, and recharge for new adventures.
Number 12, guys.
(14:43):
Tidy life, tidy thoughts.
Tidy life, tidy thoughts.
Tidy life, tidy thoughts.
Orderly.
Groundings, nurture, orderly thinking.
Streamlining your decision-making and boosting efficiency are
(15:07):
key in life.
Number 13.
Remember, room to breathe.
Open space, physically or mentally, gives you spirit
and creativity.
The room to expand and thrive.
I think the reason why a lot of
people don't thrive is they don't get the
space.
They don't get the time to explore who
(15:30):
they really are.
That's why having your own personal time is
really important.
It's very important.
You have to take time out for yourself,
guys.
Number 14, guys.
Let go and feel the light.
(15:52):
Releasing what no longer serves you creates a
sense of lightness, hope, and excitement for what
comes next in your life.
If I asked you right now, why do
you get up every morning?
(16:12):
What makes you get out of bed every
morning?
That's what I want to know.
What makes you get out of bed every
morning?
You might say, John, I don't know.
I just get up and I live my
life.
You get up and you live your life,
but I want to know why.
What makes you live?
(16:35):
What makes you get up?
What makes you want to get up?
(16:56):
I know, ladies and gentlemen, that when we
think about things in our life, we sometimes
get derailed because someone has told us that
we cannot have that.
You've probably reached that in your life sometime
when somebody says no to you.
But the no maybe wasn't because of you.
The no was because of them.
(17:18):
Number 15, guys.
Only keep what matters.
There's a lot of clutter.
There's a lot of, let's say, distortion or
a lot of, what do I want to
think of it?
Interference that kind of permeates our lives.
It's important to filter that out.
Intentional choices give you meaning and purpose, turning
(17:40):
every object or commitment into a source of
value.
Everything you do, guys, has a value.
And when your value gets resonated to other
people, guess what happens?
They want to reward you.
They want to pay you.
When you give value, you don't even have
to ask for money.
(18:01):
People are like, okay, yeah, this is valuable.
I had a client today.
I was actually at church, and I had
a client today come up to me.
This is rare.
I had a client come up to me,
and he not only thanked me for something
kind I did for their family, but he
thanked me for doing such a professional job.
(18:23):
I was floored.
There's a lot of people out there that
say they're good, okay?
But when you're good, and somebody tells you
that, oh my gosh, the feeling you get
is amazing.
I said, I appreciate the thanks.
I appreciate it whenever you need services again.
(18:43):
But please tell your friends, your colleagues, and
associates whenever they need services to think about
me.
He said, of course.
Number 16, guys, joy is in every corner
of your life.
If you're not finding joy in every corner
of your life, it's time to change your
life right now.
With simplicity, joy isn't hidden.
(19:05):
It's everywhere, folks.
Ready to be discovered and celebrated daily.
Number 17, peace is in simplicity.
Serenity grows as life becomes simpler.
It's the quiet strength that nourishes all your
(19:29):
endeavors.
The quiet strength.
I said to you before, guys, that it's
not the loud, boisterous person that gets the
success.
It's the one that's quiet.
The one that keeps on their game, keeps
on keeping on.
Somebody the other day called me something very
interesting, and I was grateful for the compliment.
(19:51):
They said, you know, John, I don't know
how to describe you.
I said, is that good or is that
bad?
He said, no, it's good.
I said, well, can I ask what you
mean?
He says, you know, John, have you ever
heard of the little engine that could?
I said, yes.
He says, well, you're the little engine that
could.
You know, you keep saying, I can't get
can.
I can't get can.
I can't get can.
(20:12):
I think I can.
And you get it done.
I don't know about you, but that put
a smile on my face.
Knowing that other people see me as resilient
just enforced the fact that I love being
resilient.
I love being resourceful.
I love accepting challenges, and I love getting
them done, and I love exceeding other people's
(20:32):
expectations, and I love under-promising and over
-delivering.
Number 18, guys.
Less equals more.
And by more, I mean more serenity, more
calmness.
Making a choice to own, to manage is
(20:52):
key.
And you'll worry less, and this will multiply
your inner calmness, and it will free you
to experience what matters in your life.
It won't get you caught up in all
the minutia of, oh, my gosh, what do
I do?
What's this?
What's that?
There's always going to be people in life
that are going to have, well, their baggage.
But don't let their baggage deactivate your creativity
(21:20):
or deactivate your potential to grow.
Number 19, guys.
Chaos out and zen in.
Chaos out and zen in.
That's really cool.
I love this one.
The chaos out and the zen in.
As you banish chaos, you open the doors
(21:41):
to welcome mindfulness and increase your daily sense
of calmness and focus.
Just by making the choice to be calm
in your life, it has me so spellbound
and speechless.
(22:02):
But it's true, guys.
Number 20, our last point for this evening.
Live less, feel more.
Scaling back on the unnecessary lets you savor
every experience and connection and feeling even more
deeply.
It doesn't mean you can't have these things.
It means that you need to value the
(22:23):
simple things first.
Because when you value the simple things, the
other things that show up are like icing
on the cake.
But you understand that the cake is all
about, I don't know, a chocolate mocha filling
with a buttercream icing.
(22:43):
You understand that's the heart of the cake.
Everything else that's put on it or other
fillings on it, they're just, well, they just
kind of add to the cake.
But the simpleness of the chocolate and the
rich buttercream gets you to say, you know
what?
I love this cake.
(23:03):
And everything else just makes you love it
even more.
You know, I think sometimes people get stuck
because things get complicated.
I'm not saying you can't have things that
are complicated.
But I find that if you approach things
from a simplicity standpoint, which is where we're
going tonight.
And you appreciate that simplicity and you understand
(23:26):
how it works, then guess what?
When you add more things upon it, you're
grateful for those things.
Because you started realizing that you have to
be tuned into the frequency of simplicity.
Again, simplicity doesn't mean you can't have bells
and whistles.
It doesn't mean you can't have luxuries.
Simplicity just means that you're okay with starting
(23:50):
there.
Simplicity might be just enjoying your bed and
having a great meditation nap.
Simplicity might mean just spending some time with
loved ones.
Simplicity might just mean spending some time and
being grateful for some things in your life.
(24:11):
Simplicity might just mean doing something that feels
so good for you.
Maybe it's making a cake.
Maybe it's making yourself breakfast.
Maybe it's taking a walk or a hike.
Maybe simplicity to you is learning how to
(24:32):
filter out all the garbage in the world,
all the interference.
When we think about networks and computers and
technology, we think about interference.
But in our world, we still get interference
from people.
And so we have to realize how do
we separate out the interference of people from
the goodness, from the simplicity that makes them
whole?
That's not easy.
(24:53):
But sometimes people themselves don't even know what
makes them whole.
So what do they do?
They add on more minutiae on top, trying
to impress you.
But what it winds up doing is de
-impressing you.
Because you're like, gee, if they have to
go through all this effort to try to
impress me, like, what's the real person?
(25:17):
People want to know the real you.
I think that's a hallmark thing for tonight.
People want to know the core of you,
your values, your heart.
People want to know what you stand for,
what your truth is about.
People want to know who you are.
(25:40):
Not who you are because you're with someone
else.
Do you remember those days when you were
in high school or grammar school?
And you were this person.
But whenever that other person was around, you
were never you.
You were that other person, or you were
who that person wanted you to be because,
well, you're good friends.
And if you didn't do that, well, then
you were afraid they were going to ditch
(26:01):
you.
But as you got older, you realized that
your self-independence is the most important thing.
Your truthfulness to you.
You don't want to be a clone.
You want to be this different person.
This person that is uniquely you.
The you that you were born to be.
(26:22):
But a lot of people out there will
try to get you to be them.
And you don't want to be them.
You want to be you.
Right?
Let the world see who you are.
Simplistic, loving, caring, truthful, full of integrity.
Simplicity just means to operate from the premise
(26:46):
with all the redundant complexities removed.
Let me see if I can give you
an example.
When you think about electricity, for example, right?
And we think about how electricity flows from
positive to negative, right?
If I gave you some long, blown-out
conversation or definition about it, you'd be like,
(27:08):
I don't know what he's talking about.
But if I suddenly started telling you about
this, which is electricity in a battery or
if electricity goes from negative to positive.
And it must have usually one connection to
the positive and one to the negative.
It can have a switch in between.
Very simple.
(27:28):
But if I started giving you a set
of complicated definitions, you'd be like, what's he
talking about?
Keep it simplistic.
You'll earn trust.
You'll build integrity.
Most importantly, you'll build the life you've always
wanted to have.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you do not know
(27:50):
who I am, please allow me to introduce
myself.

calmness.
