Accomplishing a Jiu-Jitsu purple belt is a challenging task for anyone.
In this episode, I have interviewed Josh, who has recently been awarded a purple belt. Josh is a student in my Jiu-Jitsu Acceleration program and initially joined as a BJJ Blue Belt.
When Josh started, he was struggling to find direction and was experiencing the Blue Belt Blues. During the interview, we discussed how Josh overcame these obstacles and achieved his Purple Belt.
Here are a few big things Josh realized on his journey:
🚀 It's okay to ask for help
🚀 Focus on what you already know
🚀 Find a mentor (upper belt or coach)
🚀 It's normal to have ups and downs

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
