Joe has a bone to pick. A rant to make. And poor Alex has to suffer for it. Not only is he forced to participate in this conversation, Joe forced him to have to read this horribly dreadful book. That's right. The brothers read the 2024 Hugo winning book, Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh. Listen in as they discuss the reasons why they think this book should never have even been in the discussion for what was once such a prestigious award for Science Fiction and Fantasy. If you have read this book, and either agree with the brothers or especially disagree, please comment and let them know. They would really love your feedback on this one. What did they miss!?
Next month for their book club pick, Joe has us all reading The White Plague by Frank Herbert. Yes that Frank Herbert that gave us the most popular science fiction book of all time, Dune. Let's see if what the brothers think of his lesser known work; if it lives up to the name of such an acclaimed author. That episode will be dropping on April 5th, so keep your eyes open for that.
Just as a reminder, we post twice monthly. On the 5th we post our book of the month. And on the 20th we will provide you lovely listeners with a bonus episode. Please make sure to subscribe so that you never miss an episode. And please be active listeners and comment and rate on how you think we are doing. All the details below.
Please help us grow this podcast. The more listeners we get the more we can do. While Alex and Joe love talking books it is nice to know we aren't the only two out there blathering into the universe.
