آصفه کامرانی سال ۱۳۸۸ برادرِ هجده‌ساله‌اش، محمد را در جریان اعتراض‌ها به نتیجهٔ انتخابات ریاست‌جمهوری، در زندان کهریزک، از دست داد. وقتی هربار برای مراسم و دیدارِ برادرش به بهشت‌زهرا می‌رفت با کودکان کار مواجهه می‌شد که به او گل می‌فروختند. این آشنایی باعث شد تا مثل توران میرهادی تلاش کند غم بزرگش را به کار بزرگ تبدیل کند و برای این کودکان، کاری انجام دهد. بعد از چند سال فعالیت‌های پراکنده و به‌دست‌آوردن تجربه‌های آموزشی مختلف، سال ۱۳۹۵ با کمک دوستانش، سازمان مردم نهادی را برای آموزش کودکان کار و کودکان آسیب‌دیدهٔ اجتماعی راه انداختند به اسم ارفک «انجمن روشنگران فردا کودک»
با آصفه از کودکان کار حرف زدیم و همین‌طور آموزش در بستر زندگی.
