عباس علینژاد به کوه و طبیعت علاقهٔ زیادی داره. تو اولین تیم ایرانی که به قلهٔ اورست صعود می‌کنه حضور داشته و برای اینکه بتونه تو این برنامه شرکت کنه، مجبور می‌شه شغلش حسابداری رو رها کنه. بعد از این تجربه کوهنوردی رو به شکل جدی‌تری ادامه می‌ده و مربی کوهنوردی می‌شه. تمام تلاشش رو می‌کنه تا علاوه بر رعایت اصول ایمنی در کوه به طبیعت هم احترام بذاره و تا جایی که می‌شه کمترین آسیب رو بهش بزنه.
