آتوسا افشین‌نوید در دانشگاه شریف رشتهٔ فیزیک قبول شد، اما در همان مراسم معارفه متوجه شد که این چیزی نبوده که دنبالش می‌گشته. به صورت شخصی مطالعاتش را در حوزهٔ فلسفه ادامه داد اما بعدش فهمید چیزی که دنبالش می‌گردد ادبیات و نویسندگی است. به مرور بعد از ۱۰ سال تجربه‌های مختلف هویتش را از کسی که فیزیک خوانده به نویسنده تغییر داد. علاوه بر نوشتن کتاب‌هایی مثل کتاب‌های گچ و چای سرد شده و بازگشت ماهی‌های پرنده دوره‌های مختلفی برای نویسندگی برگزار کرده، دوره‌هایی مثل نوشتن درمانی و دغدغه‌نویسی.
با آتوسا از ادبیات و نویسندگی حرف زدیم و همین‌طور دوره‌های نوشتن درمانی و دغدغه‌نویسی.
