Classically-trained singer/songwriter Pamela Benton visits the studio to talk about being immersed in a world of music for as long as she can remember, starting with the violin when she was 7 years old and progressing to teaching herself guitar by the time she was in Jr. High her music is built around her electric violin and guitar in contemporary cross-genre arrangements. She also delivers a stripped down acoustic performance as she talks about how her shyness used to hold her back, but music and community gave her the breakthrough she needed to unleash herself when performing.
