Мне сказали, что люди жестоки и злы И людей не отыщешь хороших Так, как в стоге соломы не сыщешь иглы, Как тропинку не сыщешь в пороше.
Мне сказали: бояться не нужно зверей. Звери много добрее, чем люди. Нету твари вредней и опасней людей – Каждый жест подозрение будит.
Я почти что поверила этим словам И решила, как ежик, свернуться, Чтоб колючие иглы достались друзьям, Если только ко мне прикоснутся.
