You only get one chance to make a first impression and a launch lineup can sometimes make or break a system's chances at success. The initial offering of games have the heavy task of appealing to a wider audience in an attempt to be THE reason you're picking up an expensive new console. Deucy and I put together some of our favorite hits and misses from everything from the Atari 2600 to PS5. It's a looser discussion, but it's also an interesting examination of how console makers would respond to the constantly shifting game industry to have the biggest launch ever.
