Der Friseur Figaro arbeitet beim Grafen Almaviva, der mit seiner Gräfin Rosina Almaviva in eifersüchtiger Langeweile verheiratet ist. Nun will Figaro die junge, hübsche Dienerin Susanna heiraten. Aber auch der junge Page Cherubino ist in Susanna verknallt. Und ganz Soap Opera Style muss natürlich noch eine Menge an Komplikationen hinzu kommen, bis die beiden glücklich verheiratet sind, denn giftige Konkurrentinnen der Braut, ein grabschender Chef und unbezahlte Schulden stehen dem Jungen Glück im Weg.
