Many times, there are those who think we are unreasonable when it comes to faith. They think we talk too much. The Bible says that those with the Abrahamic type of faith are made heirs of the promise. Paul points the Christian to the Abraham kind of faith.
What is so special about the faith of Abraham? Through out the years, wonderful sermons have been preached about Abraham but it is important to help Christians understand how great his faith was and his absolute confidence in God. God had said to Abraham “In Isaac shall your seed be called”. By that God was saying that the Lord Jesus would be a descendant of Isaac and that the descendants of the Abrahamic covenant will be through Isaac.
Soon after this, God told Abraham to go to the mountain of Moriah to sacrifice Isaac. I want to bring your attention to the fact that God asked Abraham to offer Isaac as a burnt offering.
