Dagens avsnitt är det 100 avsnittet av Lovecraft på Svenska! Och det firar vi med ett extra långt avsnitt av Den lurande skräcken, från 1922!
Den lurande skräcken är en av de första Lovecraft berättelserna jag tog del av, via Ernst Hugo Järegårds inläsning i “Skräckens Labyrinter”, förmodligen den efter “Färgen bortom tid och rum” som jag lyssnade på mest. Den är relativt rak på sak med sin handling om en fasa som hemsöker en isolerad landsbygd, övervakad av den övergivna Martense herrgården och kan läsas eller lyssnas på fristående från andra berättelser. Några tankar och idéer tar här form som vi kan se i senare verk, framför allt en varelse, som egentligen har utvecklats mer av andra än Lovecraft.
