Julia Bodensteiner ist Astrophysikerin an der Europäischen Südsternwarte in Garching bei München, ist schon seit ihrer Kindheit fasziniert vom Universum und forscht heute an massiven Sternen. Letztes Jahr wurde ihre Doktorarbeit als outstanding PhD research ausgewählt und in Springer theses publiziert!
Wir haben sie an der ESO auf eine Melange getroffen und darüber gesprochen, wie ihr Arbeitsalltag aussieht, wie man nachts in Chile nach den Sternen greift und dass es für Frauen in der Astrophysik nach wie vor nicht so einfach ist.
