This week Dilyana is excited to welcome Tami Parker to the podcast to help explain the facts about Perimenopause and Menopause while unpacking some of the vital steps that women can take to empower themselves during this period of their life. Tami is the founder of Planted in Health and a Clinical Holistic Nutritionist. She earned both a Bachelor's and Master’s Degree in Nutrition Science from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland Oregon and is a current candidate to earn the CNS board certification.
As a woman in Perimenopause, Tami has personal experience with this stage in her own life. Her frustration with the lack of information and support for women with Perimenopause led her to focus her career and practice on helping women with their Menopause transition and beyond. She considers herself an evolving expert in her particular field of holistic nutrition and midlife changes. Her holistic approach is the foundation that supports the women she works with, helping them create their own personalized nutritional and lifestyle roadmap that will help guide them through their Perimenopause journey and throughout their lives.
In her clinical practice, Tami provides holistic and functional nutrition services via telehealth to clients in varying locations around the United States. She loves sharing knowledge, insights, and lots of laughter with her clients. Her focus is on helping her clients know, that they can have a healthy, happy, and vibrant life during and after Menopause. In this chat, Tami helps to guide listeners through some of the conflicting information that is often circulated regarding Menopause while helping them understand some of the first steps they can take to find greater peace and wellness during the Menopausal years.
