In this episode we explore human needs utilizing Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory. I discuss my opinion on his theory, what slight changes I’ve made to better fit my own understanding of needs, and I even provide an assessment tool I’ve created to help us explore our own needs, how we’re doing at fulfilling them, and why we may be experiencing happiness or unhappiness in regards to them.
This is a two-part episode because humans are beautifully complicated and we deserve to dedicate the time to understanding our needs, and of course, how our career and workplace impacts them.
