Last year, I interviewed music critic (Albumism) and author of the "Record Redux" series, Quentin Harrison, to discuss all things related to the ultimate gay icon, Ms. Kylie Minogue. The "Record Redux" series is a ten-book set dedicated to “resetting the critical narratives of influential and often misrepresented women in pop music.” Previous editions have profiled the careers of the Spice Girls, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Carly Simon, and Donna Summer, with Janet Jackson still in the making.
To celebrate Pride Month and to coincide with the release of my book, "Kylie Minogue Album-by-Album: Stick or Twist?" (out June 30, 2024), I had another chat with Quentin. This time, we discussed Kylie’s recent renaissance, her enduring legacy, and her latest release, "Tension."
