UPRISING was first performed in 2015, commissioned by The Project Space in Newport and produced by Forget-Me-Not Productions. It was a multimedia, site-specific performance exploring political disenfranchisement, media control, and class struggle, drawing from Newport’s Chartist history and the social climate leading up to the 2015 general election. Through live music, immersive theatre, and audience participation, it questioned who really holds power and how democracy is manipulated.
