After the death of King Edward IV in April 1483, his 12-year-old son Edward V and his younger brother Richard were placed under the protection of their uncle, Richard, Duke of Gloucester. However, Richard declared the boys illegitimate, enabling him to seize the throne and become King Richard III. The two boys were confined to the Tower of London, ostensibly for their safety. They were last seen in the summer of 1483. After that, they vanished without explanation, leading to widespread speculation. Were they murdered or did they escape and live in obscurity?  -------------------- MUSIC Theme Music by Dethlehem (dethlehem.bandcamp.com) -------------------- SOCIAL LINKS Website: www.mysteriouspals.com Email: mysteriouspalsonline@gmail.com Youtube: @MysteriousPals Facebook: @mysteriouspals Instagram: @mysteriouspals X/Twitter: @mysterious_pals Podcast Feeds: www.mysteriouspals.com -------------------- EPISODE RESOURCES
