Hey Mama,
Living in a world affected by sin means grief and loss is inevitable. As busy moms, we often do not allow ourselves time or space to properly grieve. Sometimes it is the demands of our current season of life, and other times we simply do not want to re-live moments we wish we could forget.
Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, the loss of a season of life, or grieving the effects of sin in this world generally, I want to encourage you to seek the source of true peace. The brokenness that sin creates is the reason Christ came to pay the ultimate price for all sin on the cross, and then rise in victory over death in his resurrection.
So how do you grieve during the holiday season when everyone expects you to feel merry and bright?Remember, it’s okay to be sad on Christmas, and join me today as we re-visit 3 realities of grief, plus 3 ways to get through them.
For His Glory,
Christen
I would love to hear from you!
