Being so culturally diverse, Southern Louisiana inspired her sensations of freedom as an artist, while her three siblings encouraged her to remain diverse in her pursuit of country music. We discuss the parallels between contrasting music styles and the impact production in religious music, for example, has on her compositions. She shares her childhood experiences that moved her closer to, and started her on a path toward, a beautiful life in music.
