Scott Frilot has been a great many number of things over the years. A guitarist and vocalist, true, but Scott’s also been a drum programmer, an advertising designer, and a booking agent. Driven by a recent viral digital advertising campaign, his new album, 45, has landed in a multitude of countries across the globe. He shares insight into the mechanics of that campaign here. Playing Jimmy’s Music Club in New Orleans is where he got his start. Along the way he was a sponge, soaking up the promoting and writing techniques of artists with whom he worked. Later, we also delve into paying his dues living in a van with band Tomatoes, as well as his time in bands Antix and Electric Swamp Gas.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
