Welcome back to a new episode of Operation Be: The Podcast.
In this episode, I am going straight to the hard conversation around the loneliness that comes with healing. I want to honor the commitments I’ve made to myself to be honest and vulnerable, even if it’s difficult.
I know you’ve heard the saying “are you filling your cup?” Well, I have thoughts about that. I have experienced years of attempting to fill my cup and recharge my battery in segments of time, only to find that it was actually impossible to do it this way. I had to completely reset the way that I balanced the intense energy exchange that was happening with others, as well as the online world. In order to fully honor my vision AND listen to my body, it took extreme measures…and I’m talking the “turning-off-all-notifications-permanently” type of extreme.
What I have learned is that healing can be both lonely and isolating, which is hard. But what I have also learned is that if you commit to truly recharging your battery life when the light comes on…then you can maintain the energy you need to heal.
Enjoy the show!
