Welcome everyone to the 46th episode of Professor P's Podcast. After a nice winter break, I am back for the Spring Semester with a new series of episodes. I always start my season with a dosage of Elixir, the energic power. The topic for this show is MINDSET MATTERS #mastery
I know you have heard it a thousand times, but you could hear it a thousand more and still need to hear it more. Mindset matters! I teach it the most in this world. So of course, I am going to start the new year with a dose of it!
You see life through your own unique lens. This is your mindset – the assumptions and expectations you hold about yourself, your life, and the situations around you. Research shows that mindsets play a significant role in determining life’s outcomes. By understanding, adapting, and shifting your mindset, you can improve your health, decrease your stress, and become more resilient to life’s challenges.
Have you ever heard of Neuroplasticity? Neuroplasticity is the brain's ability to change and adapt in response to new experiences and stimuli. It's also known as brain plasticity or neural plasticity. How neuroplasticity works
When neuroplasticity occurs during development, in response to the environment, in support of learning, in response to disease, and with therapy. The wonderful thing about it is that you get to create new pathways. But I need you to think about what you are going to stop doing and start doing to help yourself go and live a more fulfilled life. That is your homework this week. Really think about your mindset. Think about what vision you have for your life. Is your mindset helping you get there or keeping you from it?
I want you to go back and listen to my prior episodes (listed below) to help reinforce the message found in this episode.
So let’s jump into today’s episode to hear more. Remember to connect with me on social media. My handles are below.
