Conflict is something most people run away from in relationships, but we know it is inevitable because well, we are humans. The aftermath of conflict leads us into that season of repair, which could be one afternoon or perhaps could be a couple of years, depending on what the conflict entailed.
Repair entails a lot more vulnerability and tender moments in a relationship, and can lead to micro moments of conflict too. The conflict has not been resolved, but you are working on it together and you still want to feel connected...so how do you do that? And what does that even mean to be connected while repairing a relational conflict?
We talk on a variety of blocks that we have seen in clients when it comes to actually engaging with the repair process, as well as some simple ways to connect with your partner(s) in the process. It is often messy, but even the mess can still hold openings to deeper connection and love.
P.S. Wanting to sharpen your skills in the art of difficult conversations and conflict?
