En este episodio hablamos de la capacidad que tenemos las personas para de adaptarnos a nuestro entornos así sea favorable o desfavorables. Nos acostumbramos a ver las cosas bonitas y de repente ya no las vemos, pero igual pasa con las cosas feas. Nos acostumbramos a verlas y esto nos lleva a normalizar la fealdad en nuestro entorno cotidiano. A esta adaptación se le conoce como “habituación” o “adaptación hedónica”. In this episode I speak about my personal experience and how having a home that was not pretty (by my own standards) affected my mental health, along with information I learned from a couple studies and articles.
Esta adaptación aplica a todo, desde nuestro barrio hasta nuestras relaciones. Por esa razón tenemos que estar atentos para hacer pequeños cambios que nos ayuden a mantenernos felices con la percepción que tenemos de nosotros mismos.
