Meri McCoy-Thompson is the executive director of Dovetail Learning, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering resilience and social-emotional intelligence in adults, youth, and children. In her new book, The Heart of Resilience: Nurturing Your Inner Strength for a Joyful Life, Meri and her colleague Chuck draw on their extensive experience and research to provide readers with a framework for developing resilience skills. Enhanced by more than 100 real-life stories, the book offers practical strategies and exercises for building emotional strength, managing stress, and cultivating more authentic and fulfilling relationships.

A graduate of Stanford University with a master's from Tufts, Meri is a passionate advocate for empowering individuals of all ages to live emotionally healthier, more fulfilling lives.
